  1. Score some f***ING runs for Buehrle please....he should have 10 wins by now. that is all.
  2. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 16, 2005 -> 11:35 PM) Great, more "drinking buddies." :headshake No offense to everyone with "inside sources," but I immediately file it all under "bulls***" whenever someone brings that up rather than just stating an opinion. That's just my way avoiding any need of trying to guess who might be lying and who might actually be telling the truth. CubKilla is the cynical king bud. He was just throwing a zinger at JR, something he does alot!
  3. Reading the pitching matchups...by sunday, Contreras should realistically be deciding if we sweep LA, or only take 2 out of 3. Don't play down the the competition this weekend Sox...
  4. Pitching Year Team G GS W L SV CG SHO IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP BAA 2005 CWS 25 0 1 0 0 0 0 25.2 14 7 6 0 11 28 2.10 0.97 .157 IP vs. hits are amazing for Cotts, as well as the 1+ K/IP. WHIP of less than 1....and ZERO HRs allowed.
  5. Nicely done Cheat....but PLEASE folks, don't go and start a new thread everytime we are behind from now on. I'm trying real hard to keep every gamethread nicely organized in the archives, and this will create a huge clusterf***. Cheat, GREAT timing on this one, no doubt. Needed the mojo change.
  6. Please use common sense when choosing title names of threads. Don't make it sound like it is already a done deal. Title fixed

    NEW Foo Fighters

Listened to it all a few times now. I'm a bit biased, but I love the sound. One of the acoustic tracks features Taylor on lead vocals, and actually sounds pretty good. "Resolve" is a great flowing song. I can see it as a single if it isn't already. "In Your Honor" the title track is IMO a GREAT lead in song to the disc. "Cold Day In the Sun" is the acoustic track with Taylor Hawkins lead vocals "On the Mend" is another acoustic track that lets Grohl show he has the voice to carry a slow, mellow song. Definately go pick it up. The Foo did nothing with "In Your Honor" to change my mind that they are still one of the best bands out there right now.
  8. I don't give a f*** if you have 5 posts, or 15,000 posts...You start this personal attack s*** up, and you WILL be gone from these boards. There is NO place for acting like this people. ReinsdorfSucks....that s*** does NOT fly. Quit this f***ING BULLs*** NOW.
  9. QUOTE(winodj @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 04:03 PM) Side two, Abbey Road. Quoted for TRUTH!
  10. heh...doesn't hurt my feelings at all if the NHL and NBA both disappear. IMO both inferior products to the NFL and MLB. I won't be upset at all if there is no NBA season honestly, I think its a horrible product
  11. Taking a look at his career numbers... .287 BA, .342 OBP, never more than 80 K's in a season Now I will say this from just past watching Randa. Don't expect him to keep the HR pace up, its not his game. But at his current price I agree....sucks that we wasted the same amount on Ben Davis and OMIT. Serious question though, and speak with your indifferent mind, without letting personal feelings towards Crede coming through. If Randa is acquired, where does that leave Crede?
  12. Jeez...guess I am getting old...I remember going to watch Joe Randa play AA ball with the Memphis Chicks...nice guy. And now he is 35 years old....where did time go
  13. QUOTE(doUrememberwhen @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 12:48 AM) bump Meaningless posts with no content make me angry...and you wouldnt like me angry.. OK, besides the "Incredible Hulk" reference...c'mon guys, if you are gonna take the time to make a post, SAY SOMETHING IN IT.
  14. Always have been a Cotts supporter, but I'm glad that if this is the case, they corrected a flaw in his windup approach. Cotts has been unbelievably lights out last 3 games...just looked like one of those relievers other teams don't want to face.
  15. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 03:57 AM) Wow, Randa is just killing the ball... Joe Randa .299 AVG .377 OBP .492 SLG .869 OPS 8 HR 35 RBI 24 BB 30 SO Because his OBP (.377) is so high, the Reds are actually batting him 2nd in their lineup. Ya, which is probably bad news...Cincy could ask alot more for the Joker right now given his current success.
  16. X-Box trades are fun!!! C'mon guys. No way in hell we absorb $25 million a year, when this year we have one of our higher payrolls in a while at $75 million. Its great to have pipe dreams, but realize its the Yankees...Payrod is one of their most productive players, and the Yankees aren't sellers, they just aren't. They will do whatever they can to try and become competitive before July 31st, and trading Rodriguez is counter-productive to everything the Yankees are about.
  17. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 03:10 AM) Be grateful that you have the power to change the thread title... Heh...I'd be called out on that in a hurry. Just as long as we all know when someone says: Neal f***ING Cotts!! that it means Neal went out and did a good job and when we say: f***ING Neal Cotts!! we know he imploded!
  18. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 12:17 AM) Talking about my catering availability? Birthdays and Bar mitzvahs only. Somehow I don't think Rexy was talking about your catering abilities...
  19. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) It is Focking, not f***ing Sorry, you wont catch me saying Focking other than this post right here. its: Neal f***ING Cotts!
  20. Neal f***ing Cotts... thats right, just keep on hating him though hehe....seems t obe getting the job done just fine.
  21. QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 11:13 PM) Hahaha, that album f***ing blew. Bought yesterday: Tortoise - TNT Four Tet - Everything Ecstatic William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops III Matter of opinion I guess. I still listen to "Rush of Blood to the Head" myself, all the way through. I've listened to X & Y a little bit, will be trying to hear it al lthe way through soon enough. But for now its all about the "Karma and Effect" by Seether, and "Out of Exile" by Audioslave
  22. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 03:25 AM) Eddie Guardado please. *cough* given that he's off the roids. *cough* I've long said that Boone was on the roids...you don't just go from mediocre player to Mr. Power hitter overnight like he did. Plus, I think he is an ass who I'd hate to see come anywhere close to any team I liked.
  23. Haha, that quote made me laugh. Yup, OMIT is real versatile...he is an equal opportunity butcher from any position defensively. To me, its no question who goes. If OMTI has an option left, and apparently he does...then enjoy hitting in Knights Stadium OMIT, cause we have no roster spot for you right now. Don't make the boneheaded move KW...
  24. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 12:33 AM) I recall a time when Cotts' career ERA was 5.49. Oh wait, it still is! GMAFB. And its been a tremendously long career too right? One that is long enough to get a good grasp on his capabilities huh. :headshake
  25. Cotts is goin down to AAA? With a 3.38 ERA and being the 2nd lefty in our pen? Eh, ok... Walker is gone to AAA...for Gload, they will either put Frank on the DL, or OMIT should be gone, one of the 2...seeing as OMIT is an Ozzie favorite, I'm guessing Frank will see the DL to give the brass 15 more days to figure out who is not gonna be with the team anymore.
