I've legitimately NEVER hated a White Sox team, as much as this 2023 team. I should say...organization, because they've made it amazingly easy to hate the entire thing.
Speaking of Mr. Diekman, interesting stat line....one part was with the abomination that is the White Sox organization, the other was with an actual, well run organization:
2 guys on the team, over an 800 OPS
2 guys on the team, over 17 walks for the season
2 guys on the team, over 321 OBP (Sheesh)
3 guys on the team, with double digit HRs
Team is Fine...quit worrying...
"Happy birthday, young man. We want to congratulate you on the opportunity to possibly pitch for the most overhyped team out there currently, and we welcome your astronomical walk rate to the Southside!"
Yep, it is Romy. So we're content yet again, to have guys on the bench (TA) who can't play, but we have such a garbage organization/40 man, there is no reason to IL him.....no one there to replace him with.
Please sell, Jerry.
This team is still EXACTLY who we thought they were. Tired of hearing 'this may be the game that is the spark' blah blah blah. No, those type of games are just aberrations during an otherwise below average season of bad play.
Colas can do what Frazier is doing, and at least there is still some mystery to his ability at the MLB level. Frazier is exactly who he has always been: a guy who might run into one occasionally, but mostly just strikes out, and plays bad defense.
