  1. TA hasn't had enough time to straighten it out, clearly. All teams should strive for a leadoff hitter with a sub 600 OPS.
  2. All this organization sees with Sheets, is "Bats: L" and nothing else seems to matter.
  3. I will say, it is rather alarming, his lack of power this year. Even if he's "working on something" as everyone loves to say, he still should have at least run into a few more.
  4. At least Yoan made up for it at the plate! Can’t wait for the Moncada experience to come to an end in Chicago.
  5. Check back this time next week, we will probably be back to that.
  6. 5-1, mind you, going into the 8th.
  7. Good thing we got those 2 runs, so we could give them right back.
  8. Yoan really getting it done today.
  9. Nice going, Luis....gracious, what an effort.
  10. Who had Romy and Seby having half of the hits tonight at 8-9?
  11. Beni only 2 points away from Yoan in OPS. Just how everyone drew it up.
  12. Gavin is the ONLY player on the current roster with an OPS over 800, on the road. I understand that Burger is the flashy choice, but he has been downright terrible on the road this year, sporting a gruesome 462. This team needs all the hope it can get, while on the road, and that means Sheets in the lineup. Burger is at 148/203/259 on the road, with 24 K's in 54 ABs.
  13. Well, if they lose this game, no matter what, you can't blame the pitching. Basically, they've given up 3 runs all series, and every game has STILL been a sweat. Sad.
  14. So glad Andrus is back, fitting right in with that 0-3, 3 K's.
  15. 5 runs scored in 23 innings against Detroit. Just how this offense was drawn up on paper.
  16. Hanser with the DFA, Pedro Grifol is crying in his office, with the door closed.
  17. Not sure anyone is in the market for a 36 year old starting pitcher with no regard for his health and upkeep, who also can't get guys out currently, and is making 18.5 mil this season. I'm also pretty sure Lynn's salary in 2024 will be 1 million, because he'll be shitcanned off of any MLB roster.
