Losing is a disease, and the Sox are anti-vaxxers.

Funny that the team beating up on the Sox the last two nights actually has a lower payroll for this year, as do Cleveland and Miami. Two of those teams have a winning record and the third team is just one game under .500. Proof that you can compete with a low payroll, but you have to know what you are doing.

1:10 PM start on a random April Thursday. Plenty of good seats available I'd imagine.

I like the players at their assigned positions at least for today's game. Good idea to sit Colson for a game - too easy to K on high fastballs.

I like Chase AND Sam in the line-up, Derek Hill in CF and And NO Acuna.

Vargas, 3B

but that only gets you so far - I don't even know what competitive means anymore, for the Sox it's usually been second place and no post season

Brutal luck for our hitters in that inning. Should probably have a couple runs on the board.

When you've been as bad offensively as the Sox have it all piles on like that.

Vargas has been making pretty good contact, and it finds a glove seemingly every time. 109mph for him, 111 for Mune, both caught.

Good afternoon..going to torture myself while i'm at work

Just a few.

They aren't even bothering trying to sell most of the upper deck.

Main thing is when you have a guy making such loud outs, you need the coaching staff to make it clear to him that he's doing everything right and the only mistake he can make is trying to change what he's doing. Sometimes guys get into "fake" slumps where they just have bad batted ball luck but it turns into a real one as they start messing with their swings/approach trying to get different results.

Yandy isn't hitting 40 homers a year but every time I see him he's an absolute menace to deal with. Takes great ABs and makes a lot of hard contact.

I watch most of the Rays games and Yandy is a hitter period.

Out with the tag on the hand...I dunno

I think the tag is there but they probably won't overturn as it's too uncertain.

can they fire schriffen mid season

Anthony Kay has been good.

Quero can't buy a hit right now lol

Indeed, should have good trade value

Doesn't count as bad luck as Edgar really didn't hit that hard enough to get away with lofting it so much. Would have been a nice way to even the scales though.

Hill can be DFAed for that
