  1. Tigers knock off Boston 6-2. Maggs with a key 3 run shot in the 8th with 2 out to put it away.
  2. Texas should have had more then that really. They let you off the hook. That last batter especially. In that situation you should always at least take one pitch IMO.
  3. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 05:32 PM) More like bounced into right field. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, as the ball probably would have made it into center had it not hit the bag. Yeah I agree, still the bounce probably aided you in getting the run in.
  4. You guys caught a lucky break there. Ball bounced right off the 2nd base bag and into center.
  5. Interesting stat here on Maggs. First stolen base since September 2003.
  6. Tigers take lead back on a Polanco single with 2 outs in the 5th. 2-1.
  7. What is this whole Bob Rohrman thing about?
  8. Yankees imploding too. 2 run single for Maggs. 6-5.
  9. Getting interesting here. Bases full again with no outs down 6-3.
  10. About time our bats woke up.
  11. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 05:55 PM) Funny how Tigerfan has dissappeared now that the tigers have fallen back to earth. What is there for me to say, they're playing like s***. Period.
  12. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 05:29 PM) Its hard to watch Sox baseball right now. I know the feeling, it's hard watching the Tigers too. They're behind again. 1-0.
  13. Don't know if anyone saw it on ESPN, but after the play at 2nd, they showed Ozzie, and he just shook his head.
  14. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ May 30, 2006 -> 07:24 PM) Please stop posting. Amazing how you never post when the tigers are getting their asses handed to them. Not true actually, posted yesterday when we were getting whooped, and earlier tonight when we were. But if want me to stop, then so be it I suppose.
  15. Grandy singles in Inge. 6-5.
  16. Tigers out of the 5th. Down just 2.
  17. Error by Jeter on a tailor made DP, puts em on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Pudge triples em both in. 6-3. Make it 6-4. Maggs with a base hit.
  18. Pudge homers. 5-1.
  19. Tigers only have themselves to blame for being down 2. You have got to score with the bases loaded and none out. There's no excuse that can be made for not doing so.
  20. Bases full, 1 out for the Yanks.
  21. Little side note, Yanks get a leadoff triple in the first, but Colon retires the side after that, including 2 K's.
  22. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 29, 2006 -> 12:32 PM) So everytime a run goes against the tigers its the umps fault or luck. But when you are beating the other team its just the superiority of your team. I got it. LOL Believe me if you saw the pitch, you'd say the same thing. It was obvious to everyone but him it was strike 3.
  23. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 29, 2006 -> 12:23 PM) w000000000t, ARod RBI, 3-0 Yanks w000000t, another run 4-0 Yankees Should have never happened. Ump screwed us over. Giambi walked on a 3-2 pitch that was so strike three. But the ump called it ball four. Then before that even on a throw to first by Pudge it looked like the guy was out but the ump called him safe.
  24. RBI Single for Damon 1-0 Yanks. Make that 2-0.
