If Ramirez has no idea how to handle a hit and run, why is he being asked to execute one? And why doesn't anyone know that he doesn't know you aren't supposed to try and hit one 15 miles in that situation?

Dotel is a strikeout pitcher, and that's what the Sox desperately need .

Fields also didn't play today, I would suppose its to take it easy after his injury. So its not like you would be bringing in someone 100% healthy.

Just don't do it in the middle of the game. If changing that call from an error to a stolen base helps Cabrera win a GG, at least one person will rightly be credited with a steal.

The White Sox are rumored to be leaning towards either Georgia shortstop Gordon Beckham, who went 1-for-6 with a walk and three strikeouts in Georgia's two-and-out run, or Arizona State third baseman Brett Wallace for the No. 8 overall pick.

Why do players have access to contacting the press box? That line should be disconnected. I suppose it probably is for the umpires. Maybe they should lock up the hotline and give the key to them.
