You just know the Sox are going to lose 12 - 1 and Stanton, Judge and Gallo are going to hit the ball into the corn just because that is what happens to us Sox fans. I hope I am wrong. I have to work until 7 so you are all lucky that you will not see or hear from me as a I begin with the pregame at 7 on tape delay. Sorry to sound like a dick but there is a long history of not having nice things as a Sox fan. Hope the Big Bastard and bats show up.

Hendricks was available for the 9th inning yesterday. The expectation as that game went along was that they should have been able to get one run.

3 lefties now face Colome instead of three righties......seems like a decent plan after seeing how 4--6 in the lineup fared last night.

At some point Keuchel needs to be trusted to throw 100 pitches especially if you know the next day is a bullpen day. The Twins suck and Keuchel should be able to pitch 6 innings and 100 pitches against them. The Twins bullpen aced the Sox the last two days that is the issue.

1-3 in the lineup are 2-12 with 8 Ks any further analysis of this game is worthless that is where it starts and ends Offense sucked the last two days. Kopech hasn't been lights out this month to warrant the weeping and gnashing of teeth over him not coming in for the 6th and now it looks like Kimbrel and Hendricks will pitch the 8th and 9th Every issue with this team all season is the lack of offensive consistency and not the manager.

Keep him out until September 1 and then pitch him 3 times in September.

Oddly on the southside of the city we didn't even get rain or wind.

The cubs have little base to build on from the trades. They have no core of Moncada, Kopech, Robert, Cease, Dunning, Jimenez, Giolito, Anderson, Abreu, etc. on which to build. Soon after the rebuild was declared you could squint and see potential with the Sox. What is there with the cubs? Madrigal and Armstrong?????

Real sound game. Pitching was insane. Offense needs to improve as it's taxing the pen.

As much as we can criticize bullpen usage. This offense sucking does not allow to use Kopech Kimbrel Hendricks or Bummer if losing. Use any of them Thursday when losing and we got problems yesterday and today as we will have tomorrow.

The splits warrant this offensively. Defensively.......I hope they strike out a lot of guys.
