At least Gray is giving them innings something that worthless piece of s*** pena could not do. What a worthless f***. I know hindsight is 20/20 but Lance Berkman over Dunn would have been nice.

What does White Sox advance scouting do? Gardner is having about as good a season as Morel, Beckham, and Rios and he is having a nice little series.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 08:20 PM) Not often you see a team with 3 players that need to get benched (Rios, Beckham, Morel). That goes along with Pierre and Dunn being non contributors this year also. I've really never seen an offense struggle this badly. Put Lillibridge in CF Teahen at third Omar at 2B call up Viciedo and put him in left leave it that way for the weekend Do something, anything.

I actually think a couple of moves with the lineup would do wonders but oz will not do anything.

What exactly to they think Pena has that is keeping him on this team? This is almost as bad as thinking Adam Archaletta could play.

Did they just intentionally walk someone down 6-0? They have scored 8 runs in the last six games who is making these decisions?

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:51 PM) Let Pena give up 10 runs here and hopefully be sent off to the Newark Bears. Pena and Morel better not be Chicago tomorrow evening. The offense did nothing to win either of these games so while winning two games is nice the really is nothing good happening with this team right now.

Gardner, really. Well the Yankee Sunday line-up about to put his one out of reach although I think 2-0 was pretty much insurmountable. Jackson ERA getting closer to Buehrle's

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:25 PM) kitties swept by the lowly mariners -- tells you how bad we've been playing. look, no one expects the Sox to play this bad for much longer. you're starting to see some signs that the worm is turning. I'm excited about the starting pitching, for one thing. And it seems the pen is bouncing back from its woes. Just have to ride out this f***ing infuriating offensive drought. This is the exact same thing we have seen in previous years. Pitching to contact with s***ty defense and giving away at-bats is something that is the norm. Remember a couple of weeks ago when the talk was how the Sox are not giving away at-bats. Now it seems that they are giving away a couple every inning. There is no intensity with this team. They should be winning games on talent alone. Eventually we have to question whether the talent is really there.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:21 PM) You should have heard MLB Network raving about Orlando Cabrera last night saying how he's a winner. Unfortunately, Joe Cowley was unavailable to comment. Their commentary was good but I thought it was a little overblown. They are not that good but the AL Central is brutal. .500 may win the division.

QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:17 PM) The Indians suck and you're delusional if you think they'll keep it up and be healthy. Oh and they can't pitch for s***. Their pen is intriguing to me. and who in the AL Central is going to challenge them at this point. Brad Penny came down to earth.

The last three hitters saw a combined four pitches. That plan works very well. At least they will make it official before the rain hits. Baseball stupid at its best.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:11 PM) On the way to being 7 games back. If we don't start playing good baseball, we're going to be back double digits in two weeks. Indians offense is for real. Everything about he Indians right now if for real. Javy and Jackson are .500 pitchers that do nothing to make their teams better except making them look really good on paper all winter and outside looking in, in October.

He is Javy Vazquez holy s***. anyway the Sox had their opportunities and pissed them away as was the case after the first yesterday you can send this one to Copperstown.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 03:24 PM) Is McDowell held to a different standard because he's a coach? What if this guy said something just as insulting/vulgar to him initially? That's all I'm saying. McDowell is wrong and I'm sure he'll be disciplined by major league baseball and the Braves. But I'd like to hear both sides. I'm not going to automatically assume this was a nice guy who took his kids to the park and a pitching coach out of nowhere went verbally apes***. He went apes*** on the guys next to the nice guys family.

Predict the hits tonight against C.C.
1 run 3 hits 2 walks CC will throw 108 pitches Garcia will finish the game 6-2 Yanks. I do nto think we shut their bats down another night.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Thii offense sucks I do not care how many hits they are getting now, they have three legitimate hitters in their line-up right now and can not generate anything.
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Teahen has looked better at third but maybe in the spring they noticed that he still sucks. Putting the defense behind Buehrle is not important as it once was as now he is throwing batting practice.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (Knackattack @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:41 PM) Teahen is garbage too... it really speaks to how pathetic this offense has been that we're asking for Mark f***ing Teahen. His has some talent and Colon is a good mat-up for him. When is Guillen going to do something with the players that are doing anything at all (Pierre and Beckham).
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Teahen should be in this game as he would be the most dangerous with Dunn here. God this offense sucks.
