Viciedo 4-5. Good. JorDanks 0-5. Bad. It's gotta be his wrist. No way he could be lighting it up, and all of a sudden go stone cold like that.

8/8 Games
QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 08:16 PM) Our 3B prospects are looking good now. Viciedo bordering on a .280 average, and Morel up to .280 after a 3-4 night. If Morel gets moved up to AA soon, it will be interesting to see where Viciedo plays. This was from a scouting report on Morel last year when the Sox drafted him: With Flowers & Phegley both in the system, not sure the Sox would consider that. Still think Viciedo gets moved to a corner OF spot eventually.

Hudson, Gartrell promoted to Charlotte...
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 08:05 PM) Not a fan of Keith Ginter, huh? To be fair, I tried to follow Marquez. But 7 run innings can deter things a bit.
-
8/8 Games
Danks 1-1 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Viciedo 2-2 with 2 RBI's. Also CJ Retherford with 33 doubles on the year. Nice.
-
Hudson, Gartrell promoted to Charlotte...
Hudson is now listed on Charlotte's roster. Finally another reason besides Flowers to pay attention to Knights games.
-
8/8 Games
B-Ham with a 6 spot in the first 2 innings off of Cubs 2008 1st rounder Andrew Cashner. Also, it's official. Hudson's listed on the Charlotte roster.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
As iffy as DJ pitched Friday, he was on it tonight. Pena & Thornton were solid as well. Hoping that Dotel can be another reliable arm in the late innings. Hope Linebrink is available for mopup duty. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Aug 4, 2009 -> 10:08 PM) Pods may be the dumbest man in the majors but he sure can hit! Soriano scoffs in your general direction.

Danks is 7 for his last 35. Bad slump, or lingering effect from the wrist injury? And Hudson continues to amaze.
-
8/2 Games
Santos with a rough debut for B-ham: .2 IP, 3 runs, 2 BB, 1 K.

From Mark Gonzales Twitter update:

7/30 Games
Hudson's also given up only 4 HR in 117 IP. This guy is amazing.
-
7/30 Games
Viciedo with a nice 3/5 night with a bomb & a double. And since joining B-ham, Hudson's ERA is 1.79. The most runs he's given up in a start is 5 in a ND against Mobile. The most hits in an outing is 7, also against Mobile & Mississippi. Man, I hope that injury isn't too serious. Because he has been locked in this entire year. And his WHIP coming into tonight's game for the year: 0.90. Very very nice.
