QUOTE (The Gooch @ Mar 6, 2010 -> 02:09 PM) Really enjoyed Kenpo. Ive always hated just running for cardio, this gives you something to do while getting your heart rate up. Hopefully I will be able to kick a little higher by the end of this thing. Anyways, 1st week is done, on to week 2 Monday! Way to go, Gooch! I know it's only been a week, but how do you feel after week 1?

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 6, 2010 -> 02:53 PM) A stiff back in March isn't a very good omen for the upcoming season. I don't wish ill will on anyone, but this dude is just a walking disaster. Does he actually work out to try and avoid such frequent injury?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 04:31 PM) Yeah, I'm using this as a practice week. So "The Show" is definitely worth it? I went in to Best Buy last night to pick up season 5 of Entourage (on sale for $15) and was tempted, but did not pick up, The Show. Figured maybe closer to the season starting. From what you guys have played so far, definitely worth the $60?

QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 6, 2010 -> 10:36 AM) Yes, last offseason So the trade was agreed upon, and our team officials met with Boldin, presumably to hammer out an extension, and they walked away after the meeting saying 'scrap the entire deal,' and that was the end of it? And then they proceeded to give their blessing to acquire TO? Bizarre.

QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 11:05 PM) The Bears were close to getting Boldin last offseason, and had a deal in place that Arizona agreed to. Boldin met with some team officials, and they all came back to Angelo saying they no longer wanted him. I have no idea what happened in that meeting, but these same individuals in the past gave the green light to go after TO. This information comes from someone VERY CLOSE to the McCaskeys. So Boldin met with OUR team officials?

Good work fellas. I did Legs & Back today as well. Heading into the "rest" week between phases two and three right now. Being bad tonight though. Eating chili cheese fritos, sour patch kids, and watching some Entourage.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 05:23 PM) Biggs is saying the Bears are not in on the Boldin talks. PERIOD. I think Martz is honestly pretty happy with the WRs they have on the roster already. He is that arrogant.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 03:05 PM) Which gets the smaller picture-in-picture screen? Sox baseball or P90X? Hah, I have two flatscreens in my place, so they can each get their own screen. The real question is, which gets the sound?

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) Am I committing suicide if I combine P90X and Insanity? I want to add lean muscle while maintaining a lean/trim body. I don't want to be bulky. If you've never done either before, quite possibly. My guess is you could pull it off if you really wanted to, but the better solution would be to go with the P90X doubles program instead. Trust me, that will keep you plenty lean, my man.

QUOTE (The Gooch @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 09:49 PM) Not a big fan of the yoga Just do the vinyasas...you can skip the balance poses. The vinyasas are worth doing for your chest (do the pushups), your ass and your thighs, and your core.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 03:34 PM) haha exactly. for me, i'm in the middle of my second time through P90X. I just pretty much started up again after the first 90 days. I'm sure I'll get bored of it eventually... maybe... but as for right now I think I'm just gonna keep doing it until I reach that point. Did you take any break at all?

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 02:49 PM) So would you guys consider P90X a long term work out program? Is this something you will continually do for years at a time or is it something you do interchangeably with other strength training or cardio programs, perhaps alternating every few months or so? I can't be sure, as I have only been doing it for 45 days. I envision repeating it one more time and amping up the exercises a bit. Then modifying the routines after that to keep in shape. I know this much: I didn't bust my ass to get into this kind of shape only to go back to being lazy again.

Finding jeans that fit right
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 3, 2010 -> 04:05 PM) Lol, I just got that coupon and am probably gonna buy a pair or two of pants to take advantage of that. Them and Expresses pants just fit so damn well. And I think that it is important to dress well at your job. They have some really sweet jackets this season; I may go pick one of those up, although there is not much of a need here in Vegas...
