QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 04:02 PM) You can post frustration, I do it, a lot of people do it. But the constant negatives everytime something small goes wrong is somewhat annoying to be honest... That is what every single game thread is. You havent realized that yet? -

After that last half inning you pretty much stamp yourself a lead that will be lost. -
Just once I would like my team to come away with a highway robbery type trade.

QUOTE (shysocks @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 02:42 PM) It wouldn't make Shields look bad, it would leave his line relatively clean. What would make him look bad is letting him go through the lineup again until he gives up a couple more hits, then having a reliever give up the inherited runners. As soon as it flipped to the front of the order, they went 2-for-3 against him and scored a run. I don't care about his pitch count. Get him out. I agree. Let him leave on a positive note and build on it for next time. -

By reading the game thread I dont know whether we are at bat or in the field. So weird. -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 12:55 PM) Stop hurting my feelings. I don't like it. LOL nah, never that. There are a ton of people that go about their fandom like you. However you can get entertainment out of sports the more power to you. I am just not wired like that.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 12:44 PM) Man, you guys are so setting yourselves up for disappointment with these Butler trade scenarios. Kind of naturally happens that way when you don't choose to be a fan of whoever is one of the front running teams just because its convenient to watch a winner every year.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 12:37 PM) Do you think the Bulls would risk losing a trade to Thibs? Nope. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 12:40 PM) If that were part of their decision making it would say a lot about how management values personal issues with people compared to winning. They have already displayed for everyone to see where they stand on this. Really pathetic.
-
Wolves get a proven All-Star vet and guy Thibs loves in Butler and they still get a relatively decent pick at 14. Bulls get an unproven player with higher upside IMO than Butler and the 5th pick where they can get Dunn who they love. Its risky from both sides but benefits both sides. I could see it.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 12:20 PM) But makes little sense to the Wolves, unless Thibs just flat out thinks Butler is the star he needs next to Towns (and he doesn't see it working with Wiggins). What if the Bulls swapped picks with the Wolves in that trade? Instead of keeping their 14th.

Make it work, Side Session Shields. -
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 09:15 AM) Can someone explain how the Sox can't beat mediocre teams in their division but can beat up a pretty good team in Boston? Mediocre teams are very inconsistent.
-
The Bulls are going to be on the same course as the Sox I would bet. Jerry knows he has limited time left to enjoy his teams. Lets face it, he is really old and he is well aware of the facts of life. They are going to try to be competitive and hope to have a lot of things go their way so Jerry can get a couple final thrills. They arent going to rebuild from the ground up with the Bulls just as they didnt with the Sox.

QUOTE (Tony @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 04:26 PM) I just listened to the entire Gar presser. I've heard enough trade and post season recap press conferences. Jimmy is on the market. They may keep him, but he said NOTHING to the affect of "Jimmy is core piece here, we are building around him, blah blah blah" Yeah I listened too and he sure didn't go full blown "we are committed to Jimmy" by any stretch of the imagination. My bet is that Jimmy is gone too and I am not sure it will be for the haul that Bulls fans want. It may be for a high first and a throw in and they take their lumps.
-
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:30 PM) He gave up only 1 ER today. Oh really. What is the deal then? Did he give up a lot of walks, bad defense or the bullpen? I havent looked at the line at all other than the score.
-
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:30 PM) He does have a point. None of the players the Bulls received make you want to watch a game. He totally has a point. I would think back to last year when they rarely had anybody on the floor that made me want to watch a game either. Now that doesnt give them permission to suck again but if they are going to be bad they need to be really bad and make some shrewd moves along the way.
-
QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) I would rather watch Khalid El Amin in the back court than watch either Lopez brother play basketball. It's like convincing me Joe Johnson isn't that bad. He is certainly tall and can rebound, but they make me hate the sport of basketball. LMAO just so we are clear...you arent a fan of this trade, right bmags?
-
Is Arrieta finally coming down to earth? Cubs look like they will get swept by the Cards. 7-0 in the 6th.
-
I have said for a while they need to trade everyone and rebuild but now that its here..... Pretty damn scary.
-
QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:06 PM) The fact a Bulls beat guy retweeted that means there's definitely discussions of Jimmy being gone soon too They get fooled too sometimes, so we will see.
-
Bulls fans, this is going to be ugly. Necessary, but ugly.
-
QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:04 PM) Here we go... from Woj: Bulls, Heat and Raptors are in advanced discussions on a 3-team trade that would send Jimmy Butler to Miami, sources tell @TheVertical DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNN A rebuild for REAL.
-
So Pax gets yet another full rebuild. Jerry is one loyal motherf***er.
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) How often is it that both fanbases think it is a terrible trade? It is really fitting considering both fanbases has dealt with terrible management of the team for a while now. I thought the Knick fans would love this trade though. No out of town stupid love for Rose?
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 02:47 PM) Lopez at $12 million doesn't seem that bad after you consider the new salary cap. But yeah...having him for 4 more years does suck though. LOL its crazy to think someone gave him that long of a contract.
