They will be bad next year for sure. Great, maybe they now realize this is a full rebuild. If they can get a couple top 5 picks in the next two seasons that they can add to Jimmy then they could be in business in a couple years.

By the numbers this deal just absolutely sucks from the Bulls standpoint but it sure feels like a load off knowing the Rose era is done. It needed to be done a long time ago.

Humblebraggin Last night while at the gym I noticed these two attractive girls probably in their late 20's that kept on looking at me. I am really, really not excited about Bulls positioning themselves to be players for free agency. We have been down that road too many times and found out what that leads to. They need to rebuild however they can with acquiring high draft picks. They are not built to contend in the next few years so why fight to be middle of the road without making any progress on building for the future?

Knicks fans on twitter seem to think they would be elevated to be one of the powerhouses if they were to land Rose.

Knicks with no draft pick this year so aiming high is not even a possibility. I guess it wouldnt have been a possibility even if they did have one though.

According to ESPN the Knicks are interested in trading for Derek.
