White Sox vs. Indians, 4/15/07 (L)
- 4/14 Games - Day with 16 K in 5.2 IP this year
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 12:49 AM) Yes. That's why the Sox put him on the 40 man. And his real first name is Amos. I love how you just threw in that little fact... Too bad it took Day so long to finally harness some his potential, but good for us, because we got him.- Egbert...
Anyone know what type of stuff he has, and where does he project to in a rotation? He has only given up like 6 homers in his minor league career, correct?- AAP: Donny Lucy
He's still keeping it up. If Hall can't come back soon, and Molina continues to not hit, and Lucy keeps up his hot stick, I think we might see them switch places.- Egbert...
Can someone inform me about Egbert? I am very unfamiliar with him and he seemed to pop up out of no where. So any help would be great.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/15/07 (L)
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 12:01 AM) I see you got that in as quick as possible- Interesting question
Brought down Sadam...- (Breaking News) 2016 Olympic Announcement
As much as I want Chicago and the USA to get the olympics, and most importantly put Chicago back on the map.... this would suck for all Chicagoans when 2016 comes around.- Don't mind me
QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 02:53 PM) this is the stupidest thread ever... but I love it!- 4/14 Games - Day with 16 K in 5.2 IP this year
release one of those bums at AAA and promote Day! He is going to be a stud set up man if he keeps this up.- Where KW is going with this team
I am kinda in favor for a semi-rebuilding. Not like an overhaul like the Marlins a couple years ago, but get rid of some aging players, and replace them with young guys. I think PK will be a keeper, as well as Thome (as we wont be able to trade him anywhere most likely). Vazquez and Garland are the only 2 safe on the staff for now, IMO. This team is old, and the rest of the divison is pretty young. Royals and Indians seem to be probably the toughest opponents come 2-3 years from now. I think we can remain a semi-competitive team for the next couple of years, while we rebuild.- 4/14 Games - Day with 16 K in 5.2 IP this year
Dony Lucy is a beast, and Valido finally started to hit today. Wonder why Honel didn't pitch... injury again!? Cunningham and that Schurnenstin guy are both tearing it up. Lujan with a scoreless inning. Lol, Kinston has a player with the name Constanza! Knights won it in extras... Fields got two critical rbi's it seems like though to help win it. Jerry Owens going 1 for 3, but he had 4 WALKS! and 3 runs scored. That is great. Why isn't Terrero playing? Instead they have been playing that bum Kelly.- 4/14 Games - Day with 16 K in 5.2 IP this year
Honel time today!- An Observation About Erstad
I hope Ozzie sees after this game, there needs to be a change. Have it go... 1. Podsednik, LF 2. Iguchi, 2B 3. Thome, DH 4. Konerko, 1B 5. Dye, RF 6. Pierzynski, C 7. Crede, 3B 8. Uribe, SS 9. Anderson, CF Just give it a try for a couple of days... thats all I ask!- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 03:35 PM) It will affect it a lot. Its harder to concentrate. You swing at pitches you normally would not swing at. You hold the bat a lot tighter so you don't get the bees, and it really slows it down. Ozzie loves Sweeney Yeah... in Ozzie's mind, Sweeney has the potential to become the next great grinder.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
I kinda hope we suck and have a fire sell... maybe the we could get a new hitting coach, and some YOUTH and SPEED, and maybe some LINE DRIVE SWINGS- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
that is officially ball game.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
this thread has gotten awfully quiet...- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
OWNED! Beyotch.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
You know what... who cares about Walker? These are major league hitters/ They should know that you cant hit a home run every AB like in high school, college, or stick ball in the Dominican. You have to go with pitches, and try and hit line drives, with nice short, swings.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:55 PM) If Randy Johnson from 1994 was pitching, would Ozzie actually consider pinch-hitting for Pods? He'd probably put someone like Mack in...- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
Anderson isn't going to pinch hit... I'd rather see Greg Walker (the god of hitting) up there. Ozuna and Cintron would be ideal.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
another reason why it is stupid to have 3 lefties in a row... and I bet all three lefties face Fultz.- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:48 PM) If this was Floyd, we wouldn't even be in this game. Were we even in the game to begin with?- White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
Dye wasn't this slow last year, was he? Maybe he is just trying to avoid injury in his contract year, but that doesn't explain why he cant hit s***. - 4/14 Games - Day with 16 K in 5.2 IP this year
