    Telemarketers

If I have the time, I enjoy chatting with them as either the senile old fool who can't remember anything or the really bad comedian. For a while, my neighborhood was being constantly called for replacement windows. Those guys were such a pane! I could see right through their offer. All with loud, really obnoxious laughing. The senile old man works great also. That sounds interesting, yes I would be interested in that, it is an exciting offer, what flavor is that pudding again? I love tapioca pudding, but chocolate is nice too. Sometimes my mommy brings we chocolate pudding with whipped cream, do you like whipped cream?
  2. I thought of King but thought we were trying for more of a rock vibe. Once we veer into pop, these get really murky. A certain Ms. Carpenter would have to appear. At Seventeen by Ian would need to be included. Great female rockers are harder to find and makes for a much more interesting contest.
  3. How can you die if you never lived? I pray they have a stove at the minimum to heat water.

    Charities

It's the time of year when many people think about giving to the various charities. Here is a nice reference tool to help check out those who ask for your money. http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm Boy Scouts of America Boy Scouts of America Boy Scouts of America Boy Scouts of America Was that too subtle?
  5. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 07:01 AM) So what? The other answer was to do nothing? Let the good vibes take over right? Let the commies take over in the Western Hemisphere. You sound a lot like the defeatists back in the 70s and 80s who said our only hope was to co-exist with the Soviets and hope cowboy Reagan didn't do anything stupid and start a war. You're exactly the same type that castigated Reagan for calling a spade a spade and labeling the Soviet Union as an "evil empire". If people like you had their way, people who aren't willing to do what it takes to win, then the Berlin wall would still be standing, Eastern Europe would still be Communist and several Latin American countries would be serving as Soviet client states. You may not like what we did but it worked and Soviet Communisim menaces us no more. Yet when the Soviet menance was no more, and the military was cut back, you disagreed. Why?
  6. The Republicans around here crack me up. Pussies? Americans? why it seems like just three or four years ago that Bush landed on that aircraft carrier with the giant Mission Accomplished banner behind him. Just to prove I'm not a pussy, I am ready for thousands and thousands of more Americans to die in combat. I want blood everywhere. I believe we should invade every planet if it means that no person on this planet is living under a brutal dictator. Only when every last person who wants harm to the US is killed and lays bloodied in the streets will I say enough have died. Then we need to kill their children, and their children's children. Most Americans understand the difference between a just, necessary war and everything else. Perhaps the lesson to learn here is don't mislead the US public. 90%+ of Americans supported the invasion. It wasn't until the truth started leaking out, until American soldiers stopped upholding the very laws they purported to believe in and want for the Iraqi people that support cratered. Americans are a few steps above the savages that some people here would find endearing. We understand that you can't go to war because someone is using torture on its citizens and then use torture in that war. Some see that as being civilized, some as being pussies. I'll take the higher road. Did we just become pussies because the Dems are taking over? I like the new campaign strategy for '08.
  7. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 10:05 PM) The premise behind the war is NOT bulls***, but the pussy-whipped Americans, as Nuke as put it, has listened to 5 years of "BUSH LIED", and now, we're on the verge of getting Vietnamed. I'm so glad we learned our lessons. How it was packaged may have been bulls***, and our methods of dealing with things since the inital 6 weeks of the war may have been wrong, but the reasons behind it certainly are not. But no one wants to talk about that, because they have let political bigotry get in the way. Oh yeah, those WMDs. I forgot Is this the new Republican mantra, we're all pussies?
  8. Of course we have to add Madonna - ?? Blondie - Call Me The Pretenders - Brass In Pocket
  9. Heart - These Dreams Jefferson Starship (Grace Slick) - White Rabbit Tina Turner - Private Dancer Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks) - Dreams (writing credit also)
  10. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 09:33 PM) If you think this is the same tough as nails America that fought World War 2 and previous wars you're insane. The word is out on us and its right.........you bog us down and play for time and the pussy-whipped American public will start whining and we'll back off. Of course killing is the only solution you ever see. LMAO. Kill everyone. Did you happen to remember the President's approval rating the weeks after the Iraq invasion? It's only when the American public is lied to and the premise for the war is bulls*** that we back down.
  11. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) It takes courage all right. Takes courage to see the damn thing through. America is a nation of soft-ass pussies. A bunch of pussies who have no stomach to fight against a nasty opponent who would like nothing more than to see American cities burning and its citizens in a panic. You are right that extremists want us to be paranoid and fearful and its a lack of committment to exterminate the threat that undermines us. It does so far more than quibbling about rough interrogation techniques or imperceptable "encroachment" upon civil liberties ever could. LMAO Yet our murder rate is higher than almost every major country. We've killed more people in wars than any civilization in history. I guess we could step up the torture and take over a few countries. You would have been great during the crusades. Rape and pillage the NukeClevland way.
  12. QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 05:03 PM) Right. And the current going ons in the world are that a s***load of muslims want to see us all dead. I wish you would have been around during the 50s to the 70s when millions of athiests around the world wanted us all dead.
  13. The original comment was we trained and funded these guys. You responded that the fall of the USSR made it worth it. Now we have these guys to contend with and the organizations they created. Combine that with the proliferation of nuclear weapons adds up to a different, but equally dangerous threat. The Soviets also bailed out some of these countries when their crops failed, when famine struck, etc. Now it's all on our dime.
  14. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 05:36 PM) The odds of the North Korean population overthrowing the current regime far outweighs the odds of them doing something stupid like using nukes and getting wiped off the map in return. And you also have faith in their security. That the material can not be stolen? I suspect their security would be better than what the USSR had? No corrupt officials willing to sell a nuke to a terrorist group in exchange for millions? Since we are safer today, do we need as large of a military?

    Advertising

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 05:27 PM) Enjoy that e-coli. Their new advertising campaign with feature Sam -n- Ella
  16. Yet these backwards people that can't feed themselves have nuclear weapons. I believe someone with nothing to lose is far more dangerous than someone with everything to lose. I wonder how much the next bin laden would pay for a nuke.
  17. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 05:07 PM) Freddy is gonna command 12-15 million when he becomes a free agent. He's not coming back to the White Sox. I was thinking more towards the end of his career, aka Alomar.
  18. Usually, you can also refinance after leaving the dealership. I have shopped my loan a couple times after leaving a new car dealer with the car. Both times I wound up with different financing than when I started. Kudos on thinking about that. The cost of the loan is significant. The problem you will run into is needing the information on the car you are purchasing. You can not get a loan, usually, for more than the car is worth. So you can't get a loan for say $5,000 to buy a car without knowing what car you are buying.
  19. excellent. Do you have a US agent?
  20. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 05:10 PM) OMG!!1!!11!!! Theres street crime in former Eastern Bloc countries?!?!!! SAY IT AINT SO!!!!!!! Somehow, according to you, we're better off that they aren't under soviet rule. Wouldn't it be even better if they lived even better? I think we swapped one set of problems for another. Clearly you felt the former Soviet regime was more dangerous than the current trio of India, Pakistan, and North Korea. I believe these three are more dangerous.
  21. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) Hmmn. Tens of thousands of nuclear warheads no longer targeted at us? Check Millions of people on the continent of Europe free as opposed to being under the thumb of Communisim? Check. Hundreds of pounds of nuclear material missing, nuclear scientists for sale, Check India, Pakistan, and North Korea all with nukes, Check. Former USSR countries and their robust economies now that the citizens are out from under the rule of communism. Check. Increasing crime in those same countries, check.
  22. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 11, 2006 -> 04:25 PM) Yep. That map would look real good on the radio. Did his TV show get cancelled? I'll bet it was a plot by the liberal media.
