  1. Damn, I was hoping it was her husband and she would retire from "singing". He seems like a positive addition to the world stage.
  2. QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 07:50 AM) If I remember correctly, there were also a small number ( As far Litvinenko, I have no doubt he was assassinated. There is just too much evidence after reading this continuing saga. So much cooler to be assassinated than murdered. Damn, that is my new career goal, to be assassinated.

  4. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 07:20 AM) I'll go along with that. I'm in, if urine.
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 07:19 AM) So ... Now North Korea is offering their nuclear material to Russia to get Russia's support. It's been a while since I've read anything on the Russian nuclear situation, but it was a very disturbing problem. No money to maintain the buildings, no money to pay security, no money to investigate the people with access. And government scientists, with ties to some unsavory characters from "negotiations", who had been living in the lap of luxury, suddenly without paychecks. I remember coming away from that book, and the title escapes me now, with the nagging feeling we were less safe with the breakup of the Soviet Union than before. The book was written, largely, with information from one of their scientist who had defected, so who knows how accurate a picture he drew.
  6. QUOTE(YASNY @ Dec 3, 2006 -> 07:11 AM) What he said. No what you said
  7. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 01:36 PM) Don't be shocked now... the Polonium used in the poisoning of the spy came from *gasp* a Russian nuclear plant! The security of Russian's nuclear material should be a concern to all of us. One of the dirty little secrets of the decline of the Soviet Union was missing material. The US purchased, at a huge cost, much of this material. IIRC over 500 metric tons. In a book I read, Russia admitted they could not guarantee the security of the material. Too many people had gone without paychecks and had access to the material.
  8. We are a country of followers. It's sad.

  10. LONDON (Reuters) - British scientists probing the death of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko said on Friday a second man had been poisoned by radiation. Media reports said the man was an Italian he met at a London restaurant. "We are confirming that one further person who was in direct contact with Mr Litvinenko has been found to have a significant quantity of polonium 210 in their body. This is being investigated further in hospital," a spokesman for the Health Protection Agency said. Police and health authorities declined to confirm the reports naming the victim as Mario Scaramella, an Italian contact who met Litvinenko the day he fell ill.

    http://www.cooterbrowns.com/index.html I believe that even brewmasters like FlaSoxxJim will find a suitable beverage from their limited, but well choosen, beer list. They even have Miller Lite

    Rookies Buy a 5L Keg, it fits right it. Also called a mini-keg. Rex, Jim, do we have to teach these children everything about beer?
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Nov 29, 2006 -> 10:33 AM) Two days til I drag my ass out of bed at 4 AM and sit in a tree. Too bad, I never had to drag my ass out of bed for opening day. Now the day after harvesting my first one for the season, well that was a difficult drag through bleary eyes. Soxfan nice sig Remember, I'm the only hunter running. Do you want to trust these other guys with access for hunters on public lands?
  15. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 08:56 PM) LSU had to play at Auburn, at Florida, at Tennessee, and at Arkansas. That's 4 very tough games, ND's first 3 games were pretty tough, but after that they were able to coast until playing USC. Four tough ones, versus four tough ones. It seems your major complaint it when those games were played. I would say playing those right out of the gate is tougher on the better teams than the lesser teams. I'm kind of neutral on Notre Dame. I suspect maintaining their independent status is tough and results in a spotty schedule when other top programs are playing their conference games. Who really wants to schedule ND in between conference games? QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 08:56 AM) Well i think Other teams like, Wisc, Arkansas, and Aubrun DESERVE it more, but ND will get it. Lets Just get rid of the frickin BCS. Please... And go back to the invitation system or always, for example, pairing the Big Ten and Pac 10 Champions? That system favored programs like ND even more because they "traveled well". Back room deals to get into the "major bowls" were almost legendary. The BCS is a major improvement for the fans. It can be tweaked, like any system, but I wouldn't throw it out.
  16. While it is very cold here today, at least all I'm shoveling is b.s. and sunshine
  17. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 08:49 AM) Courtesy of Cox & Forkum: that about sums it up.
  18. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 08:14 AM) I absolutely do. That is actually in the plans, the problem is that people on both sides don't want peaces, and they do everything that they can to stop it. The more militant Palestian factions are not happy with a homeland that doesn't include all of Israel, so they conduct their operations to derail the peace process with Israel, who then drags feet on everything siting security concerns. That's exactly how I read it. I would amend your post to read "some people on both sides", but I assume you would agree as well.

    QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Dec 1, 2006 -> 07:21 AM) In Game Gold Buyer and Seller not that I advocate this, but I've heard sites like this are good. I might write a book one day called "If I bought powerleveling, this is how I'd do it" Wouldn't it be interesting if the WoW people were behind the reselling? Kind of like the Cubs opening their own ticket broker service. You know, just tossing a log on the fire. They have unlimited gold to sell. It would become inflationary if they opened the coffers. This would react like any other economy.
  20. SS, Do you see a compromise that gives the Palestinians a homeland similar to what was given to Israel? It seems the world found a homeland for Israel, can't we carve out a niche for Palestinians?

    My son was just telling me someone offered him cash for his gold. Amazing. I could see this concept morphing into a gambling site with a little effort.

    QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 11:31 PM) Tide w/ Bleach works well. For tougher areas, add water and use a deck brush. Pressure washing to finish is recommended if possible, but a strong hosedown will work. If you are going to use a pressure washer, do not use the "0" degree tip, you will create chicken scratch marks on your driveway. Use the 15 degree as a minimum.
  23. Damn, it's 38 degrees here, after being in the 80s yesterday and I'm heading to Galveston where it will be even colder. I'd rather be heading south, but with all the Inaugural fun, I think I'll stay stateside for a while.
  24. Thank you Rex, we do Kickass together, just remember to have everyone vote for me so we can. I don't think I would have gone with this color scheme. The red on a barney purple background wouldn't be easy enough for the seniors to read.
  25. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 10:00 PM) Hey my inaugural balls are open to all! Hey, I thought we agreed, you work your side of the street and I'll work mine. 72 and his noodly appendage seems to be the threat.
