  1. I could make another top 10 list, and be happy with it, just from some of the ones on everyone elses' list. I would say my top 3 would be Feelin' Alright - Cocker Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC Anyone of several Who tunes. Hello It's Me is an incredible pop song and worthy of top honors. I'd probably also have to pull something off Tapestry and perhaps At Seventeen or Clouds and try them all on . . . #1 Guilty Pleasure -- Brandy
  2. He was talked about a couple years ago and according to rumours then, he was interested. Check out those two links.
  3. QUOTE(samclemens @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 03:18 PM) DISASTER Of course sam, why have an American when you can have a Korean (front runner), Thai, India, or Jordanian? Oh yeah, he's a Democrat.
  4. Totally Serious but it would take two steps and would never happen William Jefferson Clinton http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article1511.htm http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article....RTICLE_ID=41038
  5. Carry on Wayward Son - Kansas Don't you Care - Buckinghams Don't Stop - Fleetwood Mac Hot Fun in the Summertime - Sly and the Family Stone Peg - Steely Dan Breathless - Corrs It's Too Late - Carole King that hit the spot. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - Animals Indiana Wants Me - R. Dean Taylor Son of a Son of a Sailor - Jimmy Buffet I'll let that one run.
  6. In Mexico, it is common to put mayo on a hotdog. That, my friends, is really disgusting. The imagery of ketchup is one thing, but mayo dripping off a hot dog is . . .
  7. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 12:14 PM) Cook County is one of 6 counties that make up the Chicago area. The metro is between 8 and 9 million, depending on what source you look at. That is 66%-75%. But the suburbs are Republican strongholds. Lake County, for example didn't relect a Dem during the 20th Century. Will, Kane, etc? All GOP land.
  8. I've written everyone in Washington. It is embarrasing we only value human lives where we have something to gain.

  11. I know it's a bit of a cliche' but I'm going to have to bring in an impartial observer. A man's man. Man Rule: Nobody Trumps Dirty Harry.
  12. I know I was dropped on my head a lot, but Kinky is making the most sense to me of any candidate. He's gotten past the novelty campaign.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 11:12 AM) But what happens if the same number of body bags come out of the region with 150,000 troops in the area instead of 120,000? Or more? If we have the same death with less Troops, I could still accept that. It would allow for more Troops to be deployed elsewhere. But if Troops go down and deaths go up, we haven't gained anything in my accounting.
  14. Not quite. Cook County is 5,000,000 and Illinois is over 12,000,000. Chicago is about 3,000,000. So actually Chicago is close to 25% than 66%.
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 09:46 AM) They're old and set in their ways, what do you expect? Heck they probably still are listening to Zepplin IV on 8 track those 8-tracks were so coooool.
  16. Some that come to mind, and being lazy and just starting with your list, which btw, is pretty damn good. Joe Cocker - Feelin' Alright The Who - Baba O'Reilly The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again Aerosmith - Dream On Eagles - Hotel California Chicago - Saturday in the Park Gaye - What's Goin On Springsteen - Born to Run Electric Light Orchestra - Evil Woman Van Halen - You Really Got Me AC/DC - Shook Me All Night Long But my list goes to eleven . . .
  17. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 09:26 AM) Hey, it's ok to like ketchup on your hotdogs . . If you're SIX YEARS OLD! You are all freaks of nature and a blight upon decent hotdog loving society. That is all. Children, what will we do with them?

  19. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 07:43 AM) Well, if Dog somehow gets prosecuted for this, at least he got that scumbag Andrew Luster off the streets while doing it. Damn foreign countries with different laws. US law should trump any foreign law when it comes to Americans.
  20. Nice article. Kass riding the Mariotti coat tail for a few readers. The only thing better to a columnist in Chicago than being Mariotti is quoting Mariotti.
  21. QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 04:31 AM) I would go somewhere else but it's right there on the way and I have no tolerance for driving around in the morning. If only they made a machine so people could make coffee in their own homes . . .
  22. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 07:30 AM) I think historically dictators like this make the people around themselves so weak that when it comes time for succession, there ends up being an ugly brutal fight. Hopefully it at least means whoever takes over will look somewhat to the outside world for help because there are still an insane number of people dying of starvation there. NK is a mess after repeated (mostly self-imposed) famines, and terrible choices economically (way too much on military, nothing on things like food) the country is on the verge of collapse. Whoever takes over will probably have a revolution on their hands if they don't immediately and brutally make their "strength" known to the country. So Uth Si Der for ruller of Korea
  23. QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 06:49 AM) I'm trying to decide if this is more funny or stupid. Definately funny now let's all gather in a circle and pray they get back safely, just like on the show. . .
