  1. Rule #1 of hair in H.S. If your parents approve, move on and do something else. [old guy rant] I had long hair in h.s., down to my shoulders. One day I decided it would be easier to just pull it into a pony tail. Bad move. That pushed my dad over the edge and I was sitting in the barbers chair in about 30 minutes getting the worse haircut ever. One look and I decided that was just too bad, and something myt parents liked so I shaved the sides and had a mo hawk. "Hey dad, I went even shorter"
  2. Would this be similar to the exposing the abuses in the Iraqi prison?
  3. We can start by filling the hole that is our most consistent offensive threat. Our only All-Star everyday player. Fill that hole for $8,000,000
  4. LMAO You miss one thread and you miss a lot. This is a rapidly evolving, constantly changing message board. Trillian was part of the "sign up your girlfriend" promotion that Mr. Zero won.

    RNC Day 3 Thread

Nuke, You said that the government shouldn't ask for more tax money until they eliminated waste in their spending. Could that also apply to the military? CLean up the spending and there would have been money for that stuff? Maybe if they stopped processing phony medals they could buy some body armor with the savings. While Zell was voting, his military voting followed Kerry's.

  8. February. Dring the primaries as Kerry was gaining momentum.
  9. So that thick as a brick boyfriend is just going to let every breath you take be from an aqualung. I guess you have the King of pain wrapped around your finger. Have a nice trip
  10. There are way too many desperate, misguided, idiots in the world.
  11. Intersting reading. Looking at the time line from when Kerry volunteered for swift boats and what they were doing at the time makes for interesting reading. Seems that at the time he volunteered they were patrolling the coast and it was among the safest jobs. It was after he volunteered that they were assigned to inland rivers and the s*** hit the fan. About half way down the page.
  12. The guy's job is as a lobbist for a company. The guy doesn't come out against Kerry until he successfully closes a $40,000,000 contract and y'all are fine with it?? Man it smells to high heaven to me. I hate political insider b.s. with my tax money.

    Political Coverage

I love a site that blasts both candidates and exposes all politicians equally. I just found my way to spinsanity.com and found a few stories very interesting. I thought I would pass it on to the undecideds who are trying to get past the campaign soundbites and cutesy slogans.
  14. Count your money Giambi, I hope it was worth it. :headshake
  15. How many of our elected leaders who voted for the war would have agreed to even visit, let alone serve, or have their children serve? Look at the racial make up of the military and compare that to the Senate and House. Gee, what a difference.

    RNC Day 3 Thread

Of course so many votes just fall down party lines. Play nice with the party faithful or face their wrath at re-election time. If you took a representative sample of 100 Americans you will not find the type of polarity in voting that our elected officials display. Every vote, every position is political. It is rarely about what is the best course of action. It's for the parties and their self interests.

    Apu

Going way back, the Dems were the conservative party and the GOP was the up and coming liberals. They flipped sometime right after the civil war.
  19. I'm trying to remember, isn't he the Senator from New York's husband?
  20. Pentagon Censors 'Right to Know' Video Confusing but fun. Our tax dollars at work.
