  1. PA, This is why no sex isn't healthy for an adult male. What's with all the hostility? Life would be boring if everyone liked the same music

I assume it's a generation thing but to me the music of the 60s and early 70's spoke of deeper meaning and expressed it better than today's music. Who is writing and performing music today with the same emotional intensity of S&G?
  3. I agree. I expect E-Lo to cool and Mark to heat up and we'll net even. Loosing Colon without a clear replacement is a step back. We need a Dontrell Willis' type to emerge from our farm system. The pool is deep enough that someone should shake out, I hope we are smart enough to know who it is.
  4. PA, your choice in music and other cultural matters is awesome. You should be the 6th Queer Eye. If that doesn't work, I'm nominating you to be soxtalks queer eye. You could have your own fashion and lifestyle section.
  5. With your history of spelling, do you mean Don Imus?
  6. Oh great, I'm talking about masturbating and Steff shows up. I am so embarrased. PA this is your fault

Awesome singer songwriters. Of course if they were writing theirt best stuff today the words of the prophets would be written on chatroom walls
  8. Proven good or proven not so good? I don't think we can label PK as in a slump anymore. He's starting to look like flash in the pan, one hit wonder, etc.
  9. If the Sox could sign Colon and Wells they would need a second plane

Best one so far, thank you.
  11. but the first two fingers of his hand are well protected

hps has been taken and gumbusters is owned by the corporation we buy the equipment from. I was also looking at hpservice.com but that was taken. It is getting so tough to find a decent web name that isn't taken. I was also thinking about going way out with something like pinkmonkey.com (taken by a study aid site)

Moving isn't going to help you get any, whatever "some" is.

I am creating a web site for the company I work for and I'm trying to pick a domain name that will work. The company name(s) are Hydro-Pressure Services (main business) GumBusters of the Rio Grande Valley American ReKRETTE of the Rio Grande Valley All three businesses are involved with exterior cleaning/maintenance of commercial, industrial, and to a lesser extent residential properties. We are going to roll them all into one web site with one domain. I do not like any punctuation in the domain name so dashes are out to avoid the "is that d-a-s-h or the line thingy? Is it the line thingy on the bottom or the middle?"
  16. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, excellent stuffing (added a little raisen bread) baked sweet potato, fresh brussels sprouts, green beans, cranberry sauce with pecans and orange peel, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheese cake. Ended it with reruns of West Wing and my Developmental Psychology text. I do miss my family, especially after that moving recital above.

  18. If we could have kept the roster intact from last season I would have said a .300 in the 3 spot would have been nice, Thomas dropping to where he belongs in the order. Now I'm thinking an arm. I do know we do not need any more big, slow, clumsy, guys in the lineup. Basically we are trying to replace Colon and tred water.
  19. draft dodging is such a harsh word. I believe Dan Quayle liked to call it alternative unofficial service to his country. With all the WW2 veterans too old, for the most part, to run we are faced with the Vietnam generation. We will not find a lot of Nixons, Kennedeys, Carters, etc. in that group. By that I reference veterans with straightforward, honorable military service. We elect Presidents with Ivy League educations and from wealthy families. The exact formula to avoid getting your ass shot off 2,000 miles away helping to protect US business interests in some screwed up third world country.
  20. That goof by Kenny will be talked about in Sox lore for hundreds of years.
  21. LMAO We sling so much green around here we should all be Irish Once again I made a witty/sarcastic comment in real life (hard to imagine) when the person looked at me all confused I said "that should have been in green". Nothing like following up a sarcastic comment that wasn't understandable with a totally incomprehensable comment from here. Thank God everyone there thinks I'm a genious.
  22. Well if a little months ago works for you . . . I guess you tried to convinve MissPA that sex is like a polio vacine. One small little prick and you are set for life.

I'll keep using the "would I mind if my mom or kids read this and knew it was from me" filter.
  24. Actually PA at this point is non sexual, he ain't getting any from anyone, male or female so I guess he's back to Mike Jackson and beat it . . . And to tie in another post, he's setting himself up for that whole celebate clergy thing in case of a draft. Very smart guy that PA.
