I've been thinking that this thing will run it's course before a vaccine is commercially viable. And by run it's course it will be at an infection rate that is manageable for the local health infrastructure.

He went from all lives matter to killing teachers quickly.

Yep. Which is why I'd save the money and take on line at the local community college. I always discuss that strategy with my students, even during normal times. Come home for the summer to this . . . Parents "Are you getting a job?" Student "Ah, no, I'm taking classes at (community college) to save money" Or take 12 hours at your major university and knock off six more concurrently at your local community college. I guess if you can learn without lectures,

I hope my post didn't come off as mockery. I basically teach a class about getting into college, staying in college, paying for college, etc, It is a horrible situation. M point is don't put your life on hold for six months, do something to move it forward. If you are a history major, knocking off that algebra class on line isn't a bad idea. Engineering major? Get that history class checked off.

For most students there are electives and some gen ed classes that they could take. If you don't want to spend that money at Gynormous U then register at the community college and earn the credits.

I'm puzzled by students making the choice to not attend college this semester. The job market is horrible, especially for "general purpose" applicants. So what will you be doing? Sitting around the house? The economy is in a stall. This isn't NASCAR, you can pass on a yellow flag* *That's damn fine writing for a sports message board.

Are you suggesting he didn't quit on the team? Is that really the example you want your manager to set for his players? -

Ozzie quit on the club during the season to take the Marlin's job. That's something that can't be forgiven. Edit to add: And isn't quitting on the team during the season the exact thing that an old school guy like Ozzie would agree is a never forgive event? He can't have it both ways. -
My son just vacationed in Colorado and planning hotels and routes based on superchargers wasn't an issue for him, but it would be for me. He also couldn't drive over to visit us because of charger locations. I know it will keep improving but at this point I'd be frustrated.

That 400 truck quote exaggerated by a factor of 100x. They sent four trucks. Still chilling.

Are you certain they don't change classrooms? Here in Texas they do. Not as often as middle school, but a few times a day. Plus specials like music, art, and PE.

Great choice for 8 passengers. It's interesting how often people say "need" with pickups. I think of it as more what I don't need. I don't need an enclosed locked vault (trunk)? What do people keep in there that's so valuable? Driving around with stuff all locked up tight. Lol Plus do needs really apply to vehicles? I see so many people driving without passengers, do they need a backseat? Four doors? 6 speaker sound systems? Cruise? Turbo? Our current TT has over 14,000 miles in two years. We'll put another 3,000 on over the next two months. We love hitting the open road. Retirement will probably be a 5er with either a one ton diesel or a HDT.

Two years ago our neighboring school district , who names their schools for heroes, amid tremendous emotions renamed Robert E Lee High School (Lee High School) to Legacy of Education Excellence L.E.E. High School. A brilliant in my opinion solution because neither side claimed victory. Everyone was united in disliking the name. The pressure is back and they will probably be renaming again.

I'm going on a drive and want to binge-listen to something new. Recommendations?

Let's just play a double elimination tournament and call it a year. I might only be half joking. Looking at the college programs, Trumps staff for the rally, etc all with multiples of infected people and all I can think is why try?

And still tens of thousands will pour into the stadium. I'm not certain what it says about his charisma, leadership, and charm or the intelligence of his devotees.

The longer the season the better chance of it turning into a Covid circus with teams decimated by illnesses trying to field a team.

They are real 'mericans!

Twenty games and a outbreak ends the season.

He's greedy or his clients are greedy? His job is to do what his clients want him to do. Do you really think grown men, professional athletes who compete every day, just cower behind him and do what he tells them to do while they give him millions for the pleasure? You know all this about him and how he operates. How do the guys that sign with him not know? Are they just clueless and sign with Boras because no one else will accept them? I believe they know exactly what they are getting and that is exactly what they want and why they hire him. Later, they can hide behind him and he'll take all the PR flack so the athlete can keep their endorsements (which he negotiates and earns a fee for). Athletes are competitive. If you've been around any you know it isn't just competitive in their sport. They know exactly what the other guys are earning. They are competitive in salaries as well. No one dreams about being paid below market, but they do dream about being the highest paid at their position or in their sport. Boras helps them to get there. If players just wanted to help their clubs they would not hire an agent and just accept whatever the team wants to offer.

We opened high school strength and conditioning camps and almost immediately a few teams had to shut down do to outbreaks. I'm trying to figure out how to keep my golf team safe, I have no idea how contact sports will manage.

I bought windshield wipers for $38,000 and Ford gave me a free F150. I wonder how dealerships decide what to call "free". We know that there has to be a profit for the manufacturer. The buyer pays for everything. I assume marketing tests different slogans and incentives on test subjects and sees what works. Of course the smart buyer works that into their overall cost analysis of the vehicle before making a decision.
-
Are you suggesting that a player may not want to go to free agency, hires Boras, and then is forced to go free agency? That the player A. Doesn't know how Boras operates (but fans do) and B. Is forced to do what Boras wants?
-
So you believe a different agent could have gotten him a bigger payday? How?
