MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
It seems like the Phillies should have maybe had some say in it also. I'd be a little pissed if I was a Philly player.

There never will be proof that we did too much, only not enough.

MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
Here in Texas the consensus seems to be if one sport has to cancel, they all will be cancelled. But I'm holding out hope.

MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
Has there been any workplaces that have been able to contain outbreaks? The choice seems to be descend into a crazy season with teams using most of their 60 available players or stop. It's US business so follow the money . . . everybody gets called up eventually.

MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
Looking at the states with the biggest issues, California has five teams and Texas two, Ohio two teams and they haven't peaked yet.

MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
It shouldn't have been an emergency meeting. They should have planned for this. All the news reports say the game has been cancelled, not postponed. Interesting. Forfeit win?

Exactly. But the alternative is weird, having each player in his own Plexiglas(tm) bubble.

How many MiLB players does each team have? We may see all of them before this season is over.

Those guys are stuck there for at least 5 days, probably longer. No word on if the rest of the team can travel.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
If the large national chains adopt a national policy for mask wearing, occupancy, etc doesn't that give us an almost complete national response? If the government won't do it, why not leave it to private companies?

7/26 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
There were a number of posts that violated our rules for posting. No one is happy with this game, or the series.

It was a bad game and no one is in a good mood. Let's knock off the arguing.

Extra Inning Rule
I'd like to see it change for the last ten games. Imagine having a playoff berth decided by an extra inning parody.

Tigers Claim Fulmer off waivers
Bummed to see him go. I'd cheer more if he was in a different division.

Extra Inning Rule
I like the idea of trying to end extra inning games sooner but runner on 2nd in the 10th? Not so much. Two sacs and a win seems hollow. Couple ideas that might be better (besides leave it alone) Three balls for a walk. Or 10th inning regular 11th runner on 1st 12th runner on 2nd Or Home run shootout if we're going to make this a circus sideshow. And pinning a loss on a pitcher who didn't allow the winning run on base is wrong on so many levels.

The broadcast
Just please for the love of all things good, stop the fan singing. Stop all the fan videos, they are embarrassing to watch. I'm liking hearing the players.

Garmin Under US$10Mil Ransomware Attack
It's funny almost all the articles talk about run and cycle mapping data them towards the end And it affects airplane GPS grounding some planes. WTF? That seems a bit bigger than someone 3.4 mile morning run.
