  1. I thought this was bumped up from 2019, or 2020, or 2021, or 2022, or 2023
  2. Yes, by drafting first the Bears could have the biggest bust in franchise history. It didn't really matter who they picked in that spot. And many people will argue that anyone less than a HoF career is a bust. I know I'll watch more games this year than the last ten years. He's already selling tickets.
  3. And in return we would get a good defender, good runner, and above average DH?
  4. I wish there were more of them.

When you started to pass me I looked at my speedometer and realized how slow I was going, bumped up my cruise control to the speed limit, and cruising nicely again.
  7. Wow, a Sox player didn't draw interest from anyone. It's like we're the worst team in baseball.
  8. His best pitch was by his agent to get a contract.
  9. There will never be a report. It's America. We shoot each other to preserve our freedoms. If you don't want to be shot, move. Circa 2015 that would be in green.
  10. It's part of the healing process. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Many of us are at the acceptance stage. We accept the team is bad and we need to suffer a while as part of the rebuilding process. Getting excited about a win only makes the inevitable losing streak more painful. It's easier to not care. The real enemy isn't hating the team, the real enemy is indifference. Those are fans the team will have to win back. The haters are still engaged.
  11. I've done various voice work, improv comedy, dramatic acting, radio dj, club dj, but stadium announcing scares the crap out of me. I've quickly turned down every opportunity that has been offered. My hat is off to those that do it.
  12. Private companies receive all sorts of government support to relocate or even stay in a town. Economic development agencies compete for "growth". Once we started down that path it was inevitable that the wealthy and powerful would find another way to take from the workers and give to themselves. But forgive student loans or anything directly to workers and whoa, that's socialism and unfair.
  13. I loved the pick. It's also one of those positions the Bears can afford to lock up for a couple contracts. It might not be a position that wins you games, but it can keep you in games and a horrible punter can lose you games.
  14. @Dick Allendid you see the actual Sox players on the side of the road? Perhaps they were kidnapped by organized crime and replaced by actual MLB talent to win rigged bets? It's the only explanation for the results last night that make sense.
  15. That's foreshadowing
  16. It's certainly the most exciting in my lifetime. Just didn't say multiple championship window.
  17. They will be amazing by summer.
  18. AppleTV is exactly what the team needed.
  19. Don't insult my high school team.
  20. They didn't retire 28?
  21. You made that sound like a bad thing.
