  1. QUOTE (raBBit @ Oct 19, 2016 -> 01:00 PM) All of these people were fired or had to resign from their position within Trump's campaign? I only pay attention to HRC's campaign just to get insight on the next administration. Not sure I can't name someone in Trump's Campaign other than his sons. Bannon? I think that should tell you all you need to know what type of people Trump would hire.
  2. I took a stab: Secretary of State: Hillary Clinton Attorney General: OJ Simpson Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Colin Kaepernick Secretary of Homeland Security: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Secretary of Defense: Luke Cage Secretary of Treasury: Warren Buffet Secretary of Labor: Bernie Sanders Secretary of Energy: Al Gore Secretary of Health and Human Services: Michelle Obama Chief of Staff: Anderson Cooper
  3. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 19, 2016 -> 09:39 AM) Dave Weigel with a pretty good summary of the latest O'Keefe videos Recap: O'keefe exposed some things, failed miserably at others. Dems practiced shady to illegal actions. O'keefe and his team also did some very shady to illegal actions to uncover this material. Foval is an asshole, glad he's gone. Trump's spokesperson claims he's a genius. Ugh.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 01:54 PM) In other words, he hasn't figured out how to hack into other teams tablets... Eric Fisher ‏@EricFisherSBJ 1h1 hour ago Bill Belichick on Surface tablets used on sidelines re big NFL deal w Microsoft: "I'm done with the tablets. They're just too undependable."
  5. IMO, the middle class is struggling because there is/has been a major shift in well paying jobs. You can't have a high school degree and go work in a factory and make 100k anymore, those days are loooong gone. Now you most likely need a college degree in a technical field to make 100k+. Between raising college costs, a changing job market, etc, our society needs to adapt quickly. We can't tell everyone that they can study whatever they want, we need to be more reasonable in what we preach to kids, not tell them that they can't be artists or whatnot but tell them have a trade as a backup or something like that.
  6. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 01:07 PM) Also DC and NYC have very different gangs. Those cities mostly run in small crews. The GD's, for example, are almost 60,000 strong and up until Larry Hoover was moved to Supermax, we're highly organized and disciplined. The structure of Chicago gangs is very unique to Chicago. Now, the GD's and Latin Kings are nationa, but their base is still here.
  7. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 11:43 AM) It's still up, no? There were multiple put up, I know many were taken down but not sure if 100% of them were.
  8. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 11:36 AM) liberal hypocrisy? http://nypost.com/2016/10/18/nearly-naked-...-fury-downtown/ The naked Donald Trump crap was denounced by a lot of liberals, there's just no place for this kind of body shaming.
  9. Putting anything cool at halfcourt?
  10. The most surprising thing I've read all year, nay my whole life, is that Glenn Beck is openly in favor of BLM and actually trying to change people's minds.
  11. Would you get the fences with it?
  12. Nah man, you're in denial. Trump is going to win the internet polls on election day, but not the election. #rigged
  13. Most of my friends like Hoyer as the bridge guy, be a cheap quarterback that doesn't kill you but also doesn't really win you games until you can draft and develop the replacement. I agree with them at this point, especially with where this team is at, it's not worth keep Cutler around imo.
  14. So with the Costco discount you are reasonably looking at a starting price of about $31k for an Audi Q3, noice. Of course I'd want Quattro so probably more like $34k but that's not bad at all.
  15. It's soooo much better than the first trailer, it looks like a totally different movie than what I remember. I'm officially pumped now, and before I wasn't sure if I was going to go see it.
  16. BB are you really trolling right now man? The context of those emails is clear that they are talking about using the phrase "everyday American" and not just saying she hates everyday Americans. They are talking about specific verbiage she should use and it's a phrase she doesn't like. If you read that email you clearly would get that, so that leads me to assume you're just trolling the s*** out of us or you are happy to post anything that blasts Clinton without caring about substance.
  17. QUOTE (raBBit @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 08:54 PM) https://www.wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/4433 Clinton's campaign manager says she, "has begun to hate everyday Americans" to which Clinton's Director of Communication responded, "Truth." Lol keep stretching for wikileaks man.
  18. Awesome, thanks man!! And yea, below invoice sounds great to me.
  19. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 03:06 PM) Yeah, I had no idea Costco got into the car business. Sounds like a pretty good deal from the consumer side. I'll definitely check it out. I always see the cars at the store but honestly never checked them out, they usually have cars that I've had zero interest in which doesn't help (typically a lot of GM cars it seems like).
  20. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 07:49 PM) I've been checking out cars through Costco and it's been a great experience. Can jump in and out with low-set pricing. Saw a vw sport wagen today. Was nice but I was shocked how tight the back seat was. Car seat was hitting the front seat. Can you provide what you saw for MSRP, Invoice and Costco pricing? Unfortunately they don't tell you online, and I'm super curious to see what the discount is like (though I'm sure it differs per car but to get a general idea).
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 06:38 PM) Does Tilmon stay? Assumed a Dee was a major part of his commitment. If he leaves because a non coach left the staff then he was never going to come to Illinois.
  22. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 04:52 PM) Dee Brown abruptly leaves the Illinois program for "personal reasons" regarding his family. Very odd. Wonder what happened. Hope all is well with him and his family, I gotta imagine it's pretty big for him to resign.
  23. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 03:01 PM) Writing off losses is a pretty basic tenant of the tax code. There are simple parts, but our tax laws as a whole are not simple.
  24. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 02:50 PM) The large loss carryforwards from the casino business not withstanding, Trump wouldn't have paid a dime in person income taxes anyway. That's not because he doesn't make a ton of money, its because his accountants follow basic accounting laws. There are a bunch of reasons to hate and/or dislike Trump - the lack of paying income taxes isn't one of them. The whole thing is stupid. There is nothing basic about our tax laws, especially those that somehow allow millionaires to pay so much less than they should have paid.
