LOL! It told me I was a partier and that I like dressing up in glamorous outfits. It doesn't know me very well lol.

Being they are teenagers, they should have some say in where they live. Hopefully anyway....
  3. Happy Bday!!!
  4. I went to one once - I bought some stuff, but over all too expensive. My weakness is Tastefully Simple stuff.

Ditto for me. I went to a Catholic grade school and then high school. It was the same for me. I completed Calc I during my senior year of high school.

That's the only way we would get a dog - rescue it from a pound or a welfare place.
  7. I won't even feed my hamsters Hartz hamster food. I have never heard a good story about that company.
  8. Especially people who got the blue screen of death after using the "help" they received after calling his tech support line.
  9. LMAO!

We talked about getting a dog now that the house is done. Will we? Who knows. All I know is that he wants a lab and after taking one in that was a stray (FSIL's boyfriend took her home to his kids), I am fine with that. She was so cool, smart and friendly. She adored Brian and it was tough for him to give her up, but he wasn't home enough to take care of her.
  11. I just hope there is something there for my parents. My mom has been paying into it since she was 16 or 18 (almost 40 years) and my dad since he arrived here (about 34 years). My mom has a good 401K and other benefits from her job, but all my dad has is a s***ty pension (REALLY s***ty). The settlement he got from US Steel was received about 14 years ago and was only a small portion of what he really had before they closed - that money went towards plane tickets home to bury my grandparents.
  12. Brian and I are more centrists in our politics, but we already starting preparing for the inevitable (SS dying). He has a pension and a 401K, I have a 401K and an IRA. All Bush is doing is providing lip service. As soon as he actually does something instead of talking about it, I will give him credit for that, but not before.
  13. LOL! That's a good way to put it...

My sister had mono in grade school/high school (can't remember when). She ended up in the hospital for a night because of dehydration due to it. All I remember about her having it was not be able to eat much, sounding like she had pneumonia and getting dehydrated.

It is. One thing is that families need to be vigilant for rapid weight loss and personality changes in their kids and not be afraid to ask questions when it happens. My sister did the laxative approach in HS. I went through her dresser looking for the curling iron and found her "stash" in the bottom drawer underneath some clothes. She used the "it's not mine, it's a friend's" excuse, but couldn't think up a good one to explain the recent weight loss. She didn't speak to me for a year or so, but at least she stopped that crap...er...um...you know what I mean.
  16. Brian's poker buddies in Blue Island use chips (and much money) - hence I don't play cuz I would be wiped out in one hand. Our friends in Alsip play for pocket change - more my speed lol.
  17. Most definitely - at work and I have no radio at my desk (adding to Christmas list lol).
  18. I've got 1 and Brian has 1 can of pennies. We also have a can each of silver change. It's good for playing poker/cards!
  19. Those too. Many of Brian's more expensive tools came from there and he is currently thinking about picking up a larger compressor and some air tools from Sears.
  20. Gee thanks. hee hee just kidding.
  21. Ditto. It's not usual for me to agree with White Sox management on stuff like this, but I do agree 100%.
  22. The only thing we buy from sears are appliances and the only reason we do is that we have a good friend that works there and gets us discounts lol. Actually, I have to admit that I like their sleepware and "work" clothes. The only time I shop there though is Christmas time.
  23. On the Loop this morning they were talking about this. They were wondering how long it would be before both collapse.

I will only eat the chicken flavor. Brian eats the chicken or the beef, well, actually only the beef now. He's developed a slight allergy to chicken.
