We lucked out and didn't have any problems with the title company while refinancing. My parents were so lucky. The company kept telling them their house didn't exist. Turns out they had the wrong name for the area or something like that.

Well, we're cheap - we keep the thermostat at about 60.

I have to have some kind of blanket (in the winter I have about 5 to sleep) and extra pillows.

We filed a complaint against the first nursing home my granddad was in - they would treat patients that were there on Medicaid like crap (they would end up with scabbies and the dieticians wouldn't prepare proper meals - as in diabetics were getting food with barbeque sauce on it, etc). One of the homes my gramma was in was bad (not as bad), but nothing that was reportable. So now we just warn friends that we hear mention it.
