You damn tease! I thought Mercury did decide to go ahead and make the Messenger a production car... (I saw that at the car show in 2003 and a sweet looking car it was; precisely why Ford won't let Mercury make it )

From what I read about this, many parts in that movie were greatly embellished.

I would love for that to happen, but to expect it is a stretch. But that is just MHO.

Absolutely hysterical. The scene from 'A league of their own' is awesome too.

Exactly why the box (at least) tell you to test every time.
-
Way too f***ing early.

Would it depend on whether they did the allergy test before dyeing her hair? I know on dye boxes they tell you to test a little of the dye on scalp part or some of them say near your elbow/wrist area...

38 meters on my second try (2 or so on my first )

I'd run for security or dial 911 - always carry my cell. I know I have no abilities to fight (I'd be knocked out in a second). But, we also don't have kids yet. Kids can't defend themselves, she should have been more worried about them, unless someone was already watching them (if an aunt, uncle, friend, etc was there with them). BTW - I do think a murder is worse than someone getting their ass kicked and should have just as much coverage. But that is just MHO. As I said, it was a question because I don't listen to him.

Some people are photogenic, some aren't.

To some degree yes. But mostly just to get an idea of how well the person can negotiate and handle a tough situation. Seeing how my FBIL and ex-FSIL handled their divorce (and custody arrangement), it does give a decent idea on that.

Apparently not that hot if she had to turn to a 14 yr-old to get laid...

The wife shouldn't have gotten into it - she should have been more concerned with her children. It was an event that shouldn't have happened, but the cop should have gotten security first (since there was one of him and two of them). I have one question, did Mariotti cover the Wrigley shooting with as much zeal? I honestly don't know because I like me ears (or eyes for that matter) and therefore wouldn't subject them to his show.

Just read that and I have one comment... :puke

Pardon my lack of knowledge on divorce papers, but if they are public record, how is it that they need to be unsealed? As to the question...Yes and No. No because most of the time it is unproven accusations and Yes because I would like to know what this person is like (scrupulous/unscrupulous etc).

No kidding. Brian and I were in Peoria for a AA hockey game and there were these two clowns behind us that were swearing through the whole game (half the time at us and half the time at the team we were cheering for - Clones ). There were quite a few small children around us and at the end of the game the guy decided he wanted to fight Brian (this was after the guy consumed about a case of beer). Being the hot-headed Irish-Kraut that he is, he wasn't about to walk away from a fight (until I told him he'd be walking back from Peoria after he calls his brother to bail him out cuz I wasn't about to do that). By then the security guards broke it up. I was stunned that the parents didn't seem to care about the language being used in front of their kids (ages ranging from 5-12) - not one of them went to the usher or the guards that were walking around the stadium through the game. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

How in creation can this scum not get charged with murder? Are they possibly considering a manslaughter charge? Or are they thinking the mother did it?

I'm gonna miss about the middle three innings, but GO SOX!

Homeless Mother Takes Son From Foster Home Suspect Was Not Supposed To Know Where Children Were POSTED: 6:32 am CDT June 29, 2004 UPDATED: 7:00 am CDT June 29, 2004 CHICAGO -- Police are asking for help in locating an 11-year-old boy who was "dragged away" from his foster family's home by his homeless mother. Betty Bailey, 40, who has a history of mental problems, tried to grab two of her children from the front porch of their foster home on the 4200 block of West Hirsch Street at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Grand Central Area Detective Thomas Hoff said. Bobby Norman was "dragged away," Hoff said, but his 12-year-old sister managed to escape. Police were searching for Bailey in areas she was known to spend time, such as around Laramie Avenue and Lake Street, and Ohio Street and Tripp Avenue. Bailey is described as African-American, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 325 pounds, with short black hair. She was last seen dressed all in pink. Bobby has a medium complexion, is 4 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs around 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing gym shoes, black pants and no shirt. Bailey has a history of violence toward authority figures, but has never been reported for harming her children. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services removed Bailey's children from her care two years ago, and she was not supposed to know where they were living, police said. When Bailey first approached Bobby and his sister, she said she wanted to taken them to Kiddieland, an amusement park in Melrose Park, police said.

LOL! That's what my dad says now as long as my nephew isn't around.
-
So he is full of blue clay (as my dad likes to say). I kinda thought that, but never certain.

I don't doubt that the cop shouldn't have gotten involved - I agree 110%, but this lady's sons have some guilt in this too which she seems to have a hard time grasping.
