Weren't the fans saying the night of the trade they got the better end of the deal? (I mean message board postings, not articles.) I honestly think the trade was good for both teams. IMHO, for the trade to come out for us to get the best of it, Garcia needs to get resigned.

LOL! I'll never forget that one. I was supposed to fly into Toledo the night of the 3rd Cleveland game but all flights were cancelled due to rain so I drove (I left O'Hare at about 12 midnight and arrived at about 5 their time...damn tired too). I had my Sox sweat shirt on and had to walk over to a table full of Cleveland fans to find out if my boss had come in yet (keep in mind I am a 5'4 woman and these were all large men - working on the machines they do, they have to be big guys). Um, I can't remember the last time I got dirty looks like those. lmao

Postponed due to death in family of NPG Drummer John Blackwell Due to a death in the family of NPG drummer John Blackwell, the Prince shows scheduled for this week in Chicago have been rescheduled. The show scheduled for June 28 will now play on July 22. The June 29 show will play on July 23, and the June 30 show will play on July 24. The Prince show that was scheduled for June 26 will play on Aug. 3rd, as previously announced. Tickets for this weeks Prince shows will be honored on their rescheduled dates in July. Those who are unable to attend rescheduled dates will have refunds issued at the point of purchase.

Lately with the Sens as soon as I hear thier name all I can think of is, 'Another One Bites The Dust' (which incidentally is the song Brian and I are planning to walk into the reception to...). A billionaire owns them and is dying for a cup, they can afford it. Lalime hasn't been able to put in a full season as of late and it just wasn't working with him. Good luck to him and I hope the Sens pick up someone decent.

I was more curious why my friend (who, btw, is a rbid sox fan) was listening to that station...maybe to hear the excuses.

A friend of mine (ex-boss) emailed me saying how Santo was whining and crying about how he doesn't understand how the Sox beat the Cubs 2 out 3 because the Cubs are such a better team. (perfect place for this little guy). My aunt was really quiet this weekend after Friday (she was over for a candle party and wouldn't shut up about the Cubs).

LOL! We figure we are chancing it putting Brian, my mom, my dad and myself in there all at once, but what the hell, gotta take chances sometime.

With some of Brian's friends (and a couple of mine as well), I wouldn't be surprised to find out there isn't enough alcohol left for the 3 hrs after dinner.

I just want to share as I am excited that I finally got the two biggies done for the wedding - the church and the hall. We have most of the guest list together (so I can send it to my FMIL, FSIL, mom and aunts so they can add family that either we forgot or didn't know). So far, so good. I just have to call the church back to arrange the appointment with the priest. I was looking at prices for photographers and some look really costly. But, we have a few friends that we know paid between 500 and 1K which is more what we can handle. (The image is one of the wedding rings we are thinking about getting.)
