Work question...
With a taxi is usually how it is done, or so I've been told by friends that are in HR work.

Work question...
They should write him up, send him home and suspend him for a period of time without pay as a minimum, but then again I'm no HR person.

Republicans Hack
LOL! I kinda figured that part of it, but it's still funny.

Republicans Hack
I've often wondered why when men use the term 'cocksuckers,' they use it in a negative light, don't majority of men think that is a good thing? On a side note, Brian and I were cussing at each other in other languages and he used 'schwanzlucher' (not exact translation but it is a slang for the above phrase) to which I responded 'you should be so luck' - I got a great spit take from his brother over that retort!

Work question...
I hope they do something about it. That's a very dangerous situation for all - in the office and people on the road with him.

From a this woman's perspective, it's not financially feasible, in most cases, for a mom to be stay at home. From my personal perspective, I like work and wouldn't want to give it up. Not the paycheck part, but the friends/working together for a reason part. I make as much time as I can to do the 'woman' stuff. Brian makes time to work at it as well, we consider our upcoming marriage (and current living together situation) as a partnership and not something that one person is supposed to do while the other does their thing. It works well for us. EDIT: If it were financially feasible, I'd be the one working and Brian would be at home - not being a bum, working on cars for cash while the kids (when we have them) would be at school. Brian will be a great dad - he's already wonderful with our niece and nephews.

Work question...
Depends on the job, but more than likely report it to the HR person or their boss. If they are working with machinery (like at my fiance's job) that has to be reported immediately or someone could get killed. In an office setting, physical harm would only be if the person started fighting. When I worked at the grocery store during HS/first 2 yrs of college, the boss's daughter showed up drunk. We were supposed to work the desk together but that could have been costly (financially) so I told her to hang out in the office until she was sobered up. I was damned if I was telling the boss his daughter came to work trashed.

I like it! That sounds like my mom's thoughts on earth being a 'purgatory' of sorts.- The God thread
That's sort of how I envision the start of the universe. God was the catalyst to start the big bang. Something along those lines...- Dreams
I agree, but what about people that have been blind from birth? What are they 'seeing' in their mind, what do their images look like?- The God thread
That's not why I think the idea of 'lights out' is terrifying. For me, it's something like the feeling after watching a good movie with a really bad ending - "That's it, you mean I spent this time for this?!" It's that and also the idea that I will never see the family members that went before ever again is terribly depressing to me. I will think more about what I am trying to say and if something comes to me, I'll post.- The God thread
I hear you on that. The idea that it's a 'lights out' kind of thing at death is terrifying. I can't tell you why I think it's terrifying, but I do think that it is.- Captain
Captain Morgan is a good one! How about Captain Kirk?- The God thread
Reincarnation - do you believe in it? I do. I think each life is designed by us before birth, with the help of God, to accomplish a goal to reach a Nirvanah-like place. I see it that way because if God is our Father, as Christians believe, I would think that he would want to give us as many opportunities to get it right as possible.- Captain
