I wish I could have been there. I was really hoping it was during the day today that they were arriving.

I am a chic and my dad knows close to nothing about baseball so I will go with Mother-Daughter stories. My mom has been taking us to games since we each turned 5. I remember walking under the big scoreboard in the old park when it went off, I remember the thoughts and feelings of seeing the field for the first time each time we went. When we watch the game we inevitably have a phone call of some length during the game. We went to a game on 9/24 and because of my screw up we ended up in the upperdeck. Because my mom smokes, I went down with her so she wouldn't be alone. We were looking at the mural and she was telling me about her favorite players, my grampa's favorite players and the neighborhoods shown. It had been sometime since my mom and I really "connected" like that. We were on the phone last night for the ninth inning. Calls started flying around between me, my aunts and my mom. My one aunt was crying thinking about my grandparents and their siblings and spouses high-fiving each other in heaven.

My aunt just used it for a t-shirt and is sending it on to my other aunt - thanks from both of them!

I am wearing my Sox t-shirt, jersey and hat tomorrow. If it is cool enough, the jacket as well!

My PK memorabilia collection just went up in value lol!

I've been watching ABC for the most part.

My mom was 10 the last time the Sox were in the World Series! It just seems so unreal that I am going to get to see the White Sox in a World Series!!!!!!!!!
