  1. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 3, 2011 -> 09:16 PM) Time for Adam Dunn to become a man. Look for slider, down and in, first pitch f*** I SUCK TONIGHT

  3. f***, Liriano may as well have just put him on intentionally. he wants nothing to do with Castro
  4. At this point, he is grooving the first pitch over the middle. He won't to Castro because he is such an aggressive pitcher, but I hope Beckham picks up on it. Castro is a hitter, not a pitcher. I'm goofy.
  5. I think Castro has the best chance of ending this, although I seem to recall Rios either broke up Romero's no-no last year or ended his shutout with a homer. Can't remember which. Maybe he can do that again too. Cuz, seriously, how sweet would back to back jacks be? Almost as sweet as honey, which is almost as sweet as a BJ from Meagan Good
  6. Well, this s***'s gonna happen. After seeing those last two plays, it's Liriano's night.
  7. Really? They were spooning and they still made the catch? That kind of s*** is supposed to result in errors and blood
  8. Have a good feeling about Konerko or Quentin this inning. Maybe I just need to burp.
  9. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 3, 2011 -> 08:45 PM) I can't figure out if I would like to see us get no-hit, to nationally embarrass this offense and get some more talk about firing Walker, or just get 1-hit so we are't national news, but still means we are awful at hitting. Thoughts? I told my dad, a huge Twins fan who is as pissed at the Twins as this board is at the Sox, that Liriano would throw a 6 BB no hitter in about the 2nd inning. I'm looking pretty good on that so far. Oh, and I don't care. With how terrible Liriano looks, and the fact that he's throwing a no-hitter, something needs to give.
  10. That was a weak ground ball, but damn Alexei is good. He barely moved to get that. Pretty sure the last White Sox shortstop would have had to dive to get to that and almost certainly would have come up short.
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 3, 2011 -> 08:41 PM) Every matchup is a bad one for us if you haven't noticed. Haha, that's possible, but I actually thought yesterday's against Guthrie was good for the Sox. Good fastball, good control, so-so breaking stuff, prone to making mistakes...seems like about the only kind of guy the Sox can hit right now. I think Pavano would be a better matchup for the Sox right now, though that sinker scares me too.
  12. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ May 3, 2011 -> 08:37 PM) No Hitter. No Hitter. Liriano's pitching a no-hitter! Hoping for a jinx. No such things as jinxes UNLESS YOU ARE A CUBS FAN /kidding...try what you need to
  13. This is just a bad matchup for the White Sox right now. Liriano hasn't been around the strikezone, but he's been around it enough for the hitters to swing, and because he's been so erratic, they can't do anything with those pitches. Alexei has looked by far the best against Liriano, and even he hasn't looked that good.
  14. This is honestly the worst Twins lineup I've seen in over 10 years.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 3, 2011 -> 07:59 PM) IMO, he's not a major league caliber hitter for a corner infielder. I'm willing to give him some time.
  16. Beckham doesn't look like he's hitting with any power at all. He got a good pitch to hit against Liriano, it was the pitch he wanted, and he hit a can of corn to CF. Oh, and then Jackson grooves a slider to Kubel. With 2 strikes, you should probably keep that s*** in the dirt Edwin.
  17. QUOTE (bmags @ May 3, 2011 -> 05:15 PM) I've been saying this speech for a long time. Mel Kiper has given the bears great draft greats for most of the decade. We've drafted TERRIBLY. LOL Mark Bradley
