When you use terms like "es necesario" and "dudar" (doubt) you must use the subjunctive because theyre not certainties (like "it is certain"). Theyre only possibilities. Subjunctive is like this: For -er and -ir verbs: verb+a (aprenda, aprendas...) Edgar has 287 career homeruns. And hes 40. He will never make 500. Hell probably get 300 but after this year hes gone so he probably wont even make 310. Frank will retire and be a first time vote into the Hall, while Edgar could be a while. Edgars good, but Franks much better...

Guiseppe Basta-rd is a moron. Sure, Franks and Edgars numbers are alot a like. And Mike Caruso should be elected to the Hall. Edgars played four more years than Frank has yet Frank has 102 more homers, 65 more runs, and 168 more RBIs! Not to mention Frank is the only player in MLB history to hit .300, with 30 homers, 100 runs, 100 RBIs and 100 BBs in five straight seasons (its seven if its only 20 homers). Edgars never even done all of that in ONE season. Franks OBP, OPS and SLG are all higher, not drastically, but higher nonetheless. To say the two are basically equal just shows your true stupidity...

Im not a fan of Ventura but Ill admit he was a good player. Just not as good as Melton. And I knew either Appling or Aparicio was with Baltimore at one time. I was just leaning towards Appling because I wasnt sure. Still, Id give Aparicio the vote before Luke. And what about Dick Allen? I really dont know much about him. What position did he play and when did he play for us? He was pretty good wasnt he? And did a guy named Bob Lemon ever play for us or am I just hallucinating? That name sounds familiar...

I agree with collins over Fox. But Aparicio should be over Appling. And Melton should be over Ventura.

It was Loaizas second worst start of the year and look how he did. 7 IP, three runs and nine Ks. Thats diesel right there. Frank got bomb number thirteen and pulled his BA up to .288. Hes at 389 now on his career. Carlos got his 100th homer of his career. And best of all, Sox pick up a win! And this is the first time this year weve scored ten earned runs!

If Sammys at the AS game Im gonna heckle him all day long. Im gonna get as close as I can and just yell all the crap I can. I think for the Cubs-Sox series we should sell little wine bottles and ya press a button and out pops a cork. We could sit there when he bats and just pop em incessantly. It would be like Anaheim where they have those little bats. And then we could have big rum bottle balloons just like those in Anaheim, except that theyre giant rum bottles. When Sammy comes up, wed turn to any girl with us and tap her on the head with it (dont hit her, thatd piss her off). Theres all kinds of stuff we could use to make fun of Sammy...

I liked Karkovice but I always used to wonder what was wrong with his face. He had like a thin scraggly beard all over face. Somethings like Planet of the Apes. Ventura I never really liked. Dont know why, just dont like him. I laugh whenever I look at arneharris avatar where Ryan is beating the crap outta Ventura. I heard that once Ryan pegged Dave Winfield and Winny ran out there and flattened him. Then he vowed to never let that happen again and Ventura was the unlucky SOB to challenge him. Fernandez was pretty cool. But I dont really remember him. I was like nine when he left. I dont remember Bo much either but I always loved when he broke the bat on his knee. That was cool. Frank is easily my favorite Sox player and he always will be. Im sure well have more Sox legends or superstars like him in the future (heck, Maggs might be one) but he made me a Sox fan. Therefore, Ill never have another favorite player. Ill post year 50 years from now and tell people stories about Frank...

Yeah, as much as I love frank and think hes doing well this year, well probably get one rep and that will be Loaiza. Big name slugs like Giambi will take most of the space. If Im there, Im gonna boo so loud when Giambi steps in. I hope everyone will follow my lead. Id hate to see a game at our field ruined by a bunch of undeserving schmucks who are hitting like .200...

There are some funny guys in bullpens. The other day at a Tides game me and a friend threw a Tides (Mets) baseball into the Pawtucket (Red Sox) pen and some pitcher defaced the Mets logo and drew and Red Sox logo on it. Funny stuff. BTW, I think Bartolo helped shut that kid up too...
