I feel sorry for JB, I always liked him when he was here and to see him sign a minor league deal for s***ty money with a s***ty team just makes me feel sorry for him. I hope he does well wherever he goes. Whats even worse is that JB is making more money than MB. I sure hope Kenny takes that as a sign that MB deserves more money and completes this team for the long run...

Well, welcome aboard Gr8Sox. I dont think we need either of those guys. Our 1-4 is rather strong and I think Rauch should be given the chance since hes the ace of the future. Even if hes mediocre well still be fine. But I think hell be able to something like 10 wins and a 4.80 ERA.

Well, Im 15 and I have to tell the story of my favorite White Sox moment ever. This is excluding the games hwere I was actually at Comiskey because in those games no matter what happens are better. I spent the entire 2000 season (and others) in Rota, Spain so I hardly ever got to see the Sox on TV (when I did Id have to stay up to like three in the morning). When I learned that my grandma was dying of cancer my family went to West Virginia to be with her in her final days (late July 2000). She had some pretty cool neighbors and I saw that the Sox were playing the Angels one nite on TV. Just so I didnt bother my grandma I went to the neighbors and watched the game with them. The game was not going well until about the eighth inning. They were down 6-2 going to the top half of that inning. We scored two runs and then went to the ninth down by two and facing the Angels top notch closer, Troy Percival. With one man out, one run in and a man on second, Ray Ray doubled and tied the game. He later scored and we took the lead. We blew it in the bottom half but in the top of the tenth we scored four runs and took the game for good. That is my favorite White Sox moment ever...

I think it would be better put if it was Jose Cruz Jr, Orlando Palmeiro... hell, even Alex Ochoa. Sorry wsf, just had to point it out. I think Cruz would be good but Palmeiros never really been a starter. Whatever tho, this is the same issue I have with catcher. I dont care how well the guy hits. Hitting is what we have Maggs and co for. Since CF and C are two important defensive positions I just want defense. Thats why Im fine with Alomar but I dont know which of those outfielders has the best defense. So, who is it? Cuz thats the guy I hope we get...

I have a feeling KWs not done yet, hes been pretty busy this offseason. But this Rick White signing doesnt seem like there would be any reason to not discuss it, Im sure no other team would have swooped in and stolen him. 108 games, 400+ at bats= 19 hrs and 80+ rbi. those are some really good numbers for someone falling fast. He was way above that in 2001. Either way, that would just be an overload of catchers and Olivo would get less playing time. Good job passin that up Kenny...

Im with HawkDJ on this one. IRods injury plaqued, hes getting old and hes falling fast. As much as he possibly could have helped us Im glad we didnt get him. I sense a major dropoff this year from Pudge. As long as Alomar plays good D our offense will handle the rest...
