  1. Not after the last year or so...maybe Cliff Floyd and Granderson can help down the stretch though.
  2. Garcia just pounded that straight into the dirt. Menechino must be quite proud.
  3. For what? Grandal Pollock Kelly Leury Moncada can't be moved either. JR won't eat that money until at least two months of 2023 are gone.
  4. You're forgetting 6 of last 9 games are against dead in the water Sox team...Cleveland has 6/9 against Detroit or KC I think. It will be around 86-87 wins for division maybe 88.
  5. You know you're in trouble when Nick Pratto goes oppo in KC...even during a day game.
  6. Yeah, although the Kimbrel trade...Pollock for RF and no QO offer or match to the Giants' deal with Rodon a close second.
  7. Not even a tram ride at the Little K could get the ball over the fence. Might as well draft OU softball players like Ato.
  8. Pratto and Pasquantino wiping out the last vestiges of the championship window.
  9. Did he not watch any baseball in Chicago from 2000-2012...especially during the summertime? The KW philosophy was pounding away with offense so fans could go home happy even with a 9-7 loss after having watched their team score some runs at least. Otherwise might as well go back to the old Comiskey Park dimensions.
  10. All the national writers' articles about the Sox at the deadline...
  11. Don't even think there will be enough fans in attendance in Chicago from here on out to make credible Fire Tony Fire Hahn chants.
  12. The Abreu error at the beginning of the game a pretty good indicator of their mental focus.
  13. They have turned Robert from Trout into Nick Madrigal...
  14. One of our only solid defenders and someone who always hustled.
  15. This was the most predictable thing in the world. Like an Engel hot streak dissipating. Singer just announced as the starter for Game 2 as well, lol.
  16. There were three guys in that tier. Another was Gamel. Who was the other?? Drury was over 800 against RHP and can play 5-6 different positions. But no we had Leury. And everyone in baseball can see all the problems with Moncada and Grandal.
  17. What's incredible is Hahn couldn't even scrounge up a guy like Michael A. Taylor to replace Engel all these years. Not even a lefty or much of a threat on offense, but still a better player.
  18. Harrison the most dangerous power hitter. Eight in a crowd retired by Singer. Royals can preserve their pen for Game 2 as well.
  19. That's pretty much the story of the season across the board for Sox hitters.
  20. Melendez has looked as good offensively as any Sox rookie not from Cuba the past decade...maybe Anderson and Beckham's rookie years.
  21. I guess at this point Lynn is pitching to become tradeable or prove that they can count on him for 2023.
  22. The difference is Cotts and Politte weren't as repeatable as Herrera Davis Holland etc.
  23. Has to be Burger if Moncada's offensive struggles continue.
  24. Cain Perez Hosmer Moustakas Gordon is a solid enough core...it's not like the 2005 White Sox lineup was filled with superstars either. Just Konerko and Dye with Thomas out.
