  1. Catching three full games in 34 hours.
  2. Ummm no. You don't play for a tie on the road against the Royals with the best hitter in the AL the last three years at the plate.
  3. Seems wild that Greinke has thrown to just 37 different catchers his entire career. Eight starts 0-2 with solid ERA. Royals struggling to be somehow worse than the Sox offense.
  4. Bring back Juan Pierre and Pods since nobody can homer.
  5. This is pretty much what we spent the entire offseason asserting. Graveman has been the one solid move out of many.
  6. Imagine that in 2017-2019 when Moncada Kopech Robert Jimenez were generating so much excitement.
  7. Two runners town out by Grandal. Isabel a great fielder but not a burner.
  8. They had to choose between him and Buxton. No way to ink both to extensions...also dumped Cruz/Donaldson to create more payroll flexibility to invest back into rotation and Correa. We are nearing that time with Gio and then all the talk in 23-24 will be about Anderson's eventual fate.
  9. They might as well try Perez and Tolbert but it won't happen. No spark like Yermin Hamilton and Goodwin provided last year.
  10. 70 pitches already for Giolito. Get ready bullpen. Greinke will be out there in the 7th or at least through 6.
  11. Best we get is symbolic Menechino reassignment.
  12. It's a really beautiful stadium at night...and a great place to watch a game with 30000+ in attendance. Same slant or rake of the upper deck puts fans closer to plate but causes vertigo.
  13. Plese bring back lift and pull. Just don't make Gordo the assistant hitting coach please.
  14. Which is actually like a 7-8 ERA before this season of putrid offense.
  15. Greinke and Keuchel two of the best fielding pitchers in baseball...
  16. Merkin will just declare .150 the new Mendoza Line so most Sox hitters can clear that lowest of bars.
  17. Sure but KC sucks. Granted Merrifield and Witt Jr. are at least legit big league players.
  18. Wheeler/Tanaka lol. We definitely lead the majors in second and third pose finishes on $100+ million contracts.
  19. He's not going to get it from the Sox now...and that might be for the best all things considered. More value trading him like the Twins did with Berrios last year.
  20. It's all due to that $25-50000 disagreement lol. Probably nausea caused by considering how unlikely it is that the Sox score more than 3 runs to bail him out.
  21. Royals had 546 dogs for Bark at the Park. Odds on dogs counted leading WS runs scored this season? First AL home run for Bobby Witt. 109 EV. Well over 400 feet 436 to be precise. Each of his four topping the previous in distance.
  22. White Sox either the third lowest in majors or certainly AL against any type of breaking ball. Just .186, and what does Greinke specialize in now? There you see it against Robert although his homer off Barlow was a hanging inside slider.
  23. That makes a lot more sense. Because 66 stolen bases would be two per game. Once upon a time, a 35-55% success rate was more the norm across baseball.
  24. Crazy. I don't remember any of them but I can't watch the majority of games at work lol.
  25. Didn't want Keuchel's 2022 option to best. Shades of 2014/15 Royals on basepaths. I mean, Grandal has a, what, 3-5% rate of success throwing out anyone...even if the runners are held properly.
