Zavala and Sheets and Robert at only 85-90% and that’s your ballgame. Seby cost the team arguably two runs all by himself in the span of just an inning or two. 6 1/2 and 3 1/2 back feels even more because we haven’t shown any confidence in beating the two frontrunners yet. If Zaidi and Kapler really want to rub things in, he will start Rodon on Sunday on normal rest, instead of DeSclafini, who has given up something like 21 runs his last 19 IP. Even the Giants made a mistake with that extension and letting Gausman go.

Still a game I guess...albeit sense of doom hanging over it.

Fell out when the glove hit the bag...momentum carried glove there.

If Robert never returns to 100% this franchise is really doomed. How does that ball get knocked out of a veteran's glove? Bad throw there too.

Ward at least has been over .300 all season.

Do we ever manage to catch those throws at home plate AND make a successful tag without losing the ball? Seems like something they might want to practice, maybe.

Robert doesn't have that extra gear now and scared off a bit by Leury.

Should at least wait for the 8th for the pen implosion in order to keep everyone up another thirty minutes.

Last year in Anaheim relief nightmares returning in full force...

Would have helped to have a 4-2 lead about now...

Burger Haseley McGuire on bench. No reason he shouldn't be in RF now.

Doubt it's Burger...they still need his pop.

Have to score two runs there...at a minimum.

not even Menechino can exert that much influence so quickly lol

Sosa 1/12 is going to get him benched by TLR rules.

Where was Zavala going? Runner from first wasn't going to get to third no matter what.

Plus Ward was great the first six weeks...Marsh very solid. Problem has always been turning Adell around for good.

Giolito ERA down to 5.19. Can we please PR Haseley now and insert him for defense?

How much would a male gigolo sweat in church?...we should be equal opportunity at SoxTalk.

Uribe/Crede specials.

You have to give players time to do that...like an entire winter ball season.

You have to score Anderson here.

They knew it was personnel related and also made a brilliant call dumping Berrios and keeping Buxton. Sox would do the opposite somehow...like Rodon/Kimbrel.

Especially considering how much goes to Correa and then Buxton...and they still have Maeda as well in theory second half. Cruz and Donaldson were very expensive for a mid tier payroll.

Sanchez and Jeffers at catcher. Rebuilt entire rotation with Ryan Archer Bundy Paddack Ober Paddack. Added Larnach Celestino and Kiriloff to mix from system.
