You really believe the circumstances of the two clubs were anywhere close to 2016-17? Remember, the Cubs had already won the WS, so they were essentially playing with house money.

The Cubs aren’t going to be eating any of Bryant’s salary, and they certainly won’t be dealing him to the Sox.

Just hit a game tying three run homer (#15) off Pressly with two outs in top of the 9th in Houston. Had gone 0/4 with 3 k’s and an RBI groundout prior. Don Orsillo went nuts. Ball went way up on the train tracks. No idea yet but distance and EV are going to be off the charts. He and A.Garcia (Rookie of the Year in AL for sure) of the Rangers are just on incredible homer tears. Four consecutive extra inning games for first time in franchise history (4-4 overall.)
