  1. If only Willie Harris was given a LEGIT shot and not just ticked the MLB Exec offices' boxes
  2. Winning to SPITE the owner/GM/manager...feels like the script for Major League 3, starring the Yerminator and chock-filled with Moncada reggaeton MV's. Reinsdorf actually appears to be more stable and resolute than LaRussa. Just watching his post-game ZOOM call-ins, it's so uncomfortable, like watching on ongoing train wreck, or a 9 minute action sequence on the runway in F&Furious, except Gal Gadot dies. I'm actually more emotional about that, or Han, lol. Only in a JR-led organization would we have to deal with this....or the Manchester United fan revolt against the Glazers, I guess. Sox fans can't even get upset enough to protest en masse we've become so anesthetized/numbed to this kind of stuff over the years.
  3. I think everyone needs to dial it down a bit. Frustrated, sure. But the Twins are still 10 1/2 games back. This is not the 2018-20 version, and it's especially not the 2002-2004/06/10 Twins, either.
  4. Similar feelings, especially with Robert and Jimenez out... Frustration with Grandal/Hendriks, but that's on the front office and TLR. Loved the Yermin Mercedes story, and now it's at the center of a clubhouse rift. Knew it was coming eventually.
  5. SF Giants take over the MLB lead for highest winning percentage.
  6. Or a catcher who can only be in the line-up for about 2/3rd's of the games. Hahn.
  7. See Koch, Robertson...even Dotel and Linebrink. We've always been better off, at least since Roberto Hernandez finding guys on the cheap or internally, the Sergio Santoses, Martes and Bobby Jenks of the world, Tom Gordon, Keith Foulke, Howry, Tom Gordon, Takatsu, Hermanson, Crain, etc.
  8. He's only been really good when he's had his really dominant fastball or mixing in breaking pitches with regularity. He has thrown so many pitches the last 2-3 seasons, you just wonder what he'll have left in the tank in 2022-23. And now the whole TLR/Yermin Mercedes "tete a tete" becomes yet another unneeded distraction for the clubhouse, as well as Stone vs. Moncada. The Hispanic players are going to rebel against this whole "old school" thing if Abreu decides to turn against TLR.
  9. Well, you pretty much knew the Twins were going to win there as soon as the lead was blown. Nobody can be all that shocked. 12 1/2 game and Twins nearly dead breathes live back into 2021 for them...10 1/2 GB now.
  10. Hamilton was almost slowing down too much, made me a bit nervous he was going to drop it. Seems like that ball goes out in 2018/19/20...or at least bouncing off warning track.
  11. LaRussa getting way way too cute. Arraez is a 700ish OPS hitter at this point in the season.
  12. HUSTLE, baby!!! He almost could have run to 1st before Cruz the rate he was going across the diamond...
  13. Did Hector Gomez send out a tweet that Cruz was unavailable to PH tonight?
  14. Hendriks in a tie game on the road? Hmmm....
  15. This doesn't bode well, lol...not unless Crochet rediscovers 99-102/103 suddenly.
  16. Who the hell is LaRussa going to send out there? Crochet?
  17. That's impossible with their current pitching staff and no Buxton and an at best tenuous closing situation. Robles right now is their best pitcher out of the pen.
  18. I'd say the cheaper contract that's on pace for a 4.8 fWAR season, for $300 Alex.
  19. Need a Heyward clubhouse inspirational speech if there's a rain delay...
  20. He's hitting like Yankees CANO tonight...
  21. I just had exam invigilation for two hours, missed that development...
