At what point do we start to believe?
Which is close to where the farm system is ranked ten weeks before 1-1 and 2-41. But Bonemer Braden and those picks push it at least back into the 8-12 range. Even considering current uncertainty around McDougal Hagen Oppor.

79000 tickets but maybe those were comped/giveaways to sponsors or schools, etc.

Direct subsidy from State if tickets sold go under 800,000...or maybe it was renegotiated up to to 1.2 million? It hasn't ever happened. Then I think just once they paid a tax on selling TOO many tickets....which would have happened in the 2006-2012 time period under KW and certainly not recently. 1.93 million Under the current agreement with the Illinois Sports Authority, the White Sox must pay a fee on each ticket sold over 1.93 million in paid attendance, a total the White Sox have not reached for 13 consecutive seasons (not counting the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign.)

You’re going to be accused of moving the goalposts when even Fegan’s optimistic prediction was 79-83.

https://www.mlb.com/news/free-agent-starting-pitcher-power-rankings-2025-26 who? Cease? Giolito? Imai has been a disaster Michael King wanted to stay in SD Gallen…same thing, home is where the heart is Ranger Suarez is the easy answer here…but would have required a 10-15% overpay

You're suddenly benching Meidroth when the team is playing well together? They won't do that. They'very already moved both Sosa and Antonacci to accommodate Chase.

Bring up Braden Montgomery to play Right Field
can't sacrifice proper development for a couple of wins at the big league level Sale Crochet Carson Fulmer Vaughn Madrigal too many Sox prospects have been rushed to the big league level to cover up holes there Braden also didn't get any milb reps his draft year give this until at least June to sort itself out Hays needs at least 2 months of everyday playing time as well in order to boost his trade value...Braden is a very solid prospect but he's not Konnor Griffin either and still has to address the swing and miss aspects of his game before he feels all the pressure at the big league level to produce

Dodgers NationJapanese Star Headed for MLB Soon Posts Photo Wearing Dod...An incoming Japanese-born free agent superstar posted a photo on Christmas wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball hat.Right now it's probably pretty close with Yamamoto as best pitcher and his IronMan feats in the World Series. But he doesn't have the charitable and "chicks dig the long ball" oomph that Mune posesses in abundance. Hideki Godzilla Matsui of the Yankees was up there, as well. Hideo Nomo for a stretch. Then Dice K Mania as well.

Not extending Murakami would be a PR disaster
Under $200 million won't get it done...but there's that 10-15% chance he's a Konerko/Buehrle or even simply Jose Ramirez loyalist. Thst's closer to where Schwarber and Pete Alonso are as of now...except the 1-2 additional years.
