That was a nasty slider bearing in on him...oh, well. That might have been the hit of the early season for the White Sox, the bases clearing double coming off a 2/25 slump.

Making Robert look overmatched the first two pitches. Too overeager. Great block by Greiner, also runs well for a catcher, been impressed.

18 months ago, it seemed like Lucas Giolito was on the way out of baseball. Someone with that kind of stuff, sometimes everything just clicks in the right situation.

MLB Trade Rumors has Mike Minor and Jose Quintana in TIER 1, along with Tanaka. Not going there with them, not based on how Minor's throwing, and Q's impossible to value right now. Tanaka unlikely to leave NY. Could see him going back to JPN or retiring, but likely figure out a way to stay with the Yankees for less money.

Nope...might have been the Dodgers.

Gausman in recent days has been upper 90's and looks like a poor man's Wheeler or another version of Lucas Giolito...put him on a winning team, without any pressure?

Love the ENGEL goggles. RR listening about pulling EE late in games for PR/defensive.

Stroman/Bauer/Gausman/Ray/Paxton/Garrett Richards T.Walker/A.Wood/Quintana/Tanaka/Odorizzi There's 11. Tier 1. Tier 2. Don't see Tanaka leaving NY, and a pitcher with diminishing stuff heading into the backside of his career doesn't seem a wise pitcher to overpay for. Ray strikes out a ton, but usually only goes 4-6 innings and always leads to early bullpen games. Throws way too many pitches. Better for fantasy than a real team, IMO.

Depends what their assessment of the Kopech situation is both, mentally and physically. Gio, Keuchel, Cease, Kopech, Lopez/Dunning/Rodon should be enough to at least start the season. 2022 is when they would probably add, but then you have Crochet/Kelley starting to move into the picture as well.

C'mon, you have him down 0-2, don't MESS around and lose him.

Foulke for a while might have had the best change-up in the game...don't really see Marshall as a closer type, but who knows. He does have a lot of Kirby Yates to his arsenal. Doesn't blow you away, but has the right pitch for the right situation usually.

Wowww....thought that was fair for sure. Don't really feel like Marshall's success is going to be all that sustainable in pressure-packed situation as the season goes on. Well, got the strikeout there. Picked right spot to bring back the FB.

Dammit, here we go again with the late innings tight-rope act.

Has anyone ordered BUD or Bud Light delivery? That seems a bit of a stretch, but obviously someone is buying...desperate times call for desperate measures, as they say. Let's hope Christian Stewart doesn't date Kristen Stewart. UNLIKELY. But you never know.

Cisnero...we don't want to face you any more this series. Seems like his name should have an S at the end, like the formerly indicted Clinton admin official, Henry.

Totally forgot the Tigers had Ivan Nova. 5.74 ERA, 1-0 for DET. Going against INDIANS in first game of weekend series.

Marshall is the logical pick, but these 8th innings are going to serve witness to why Bummer's presence is so important to this team.

Burdi or Detwiler, lol. Can't use him back-to-back. Good question. Heuer's been going through a rough patch.

Anderson CYCLE TIME. "2020 the Sox are coming for you ... winning the batting title was great, but we want to get to October" ESPN/MLB NETWORK needs to do a live look-in.

First looked like a ball, second like a strike. Cabrera about 50-55 feet down the line when the ball arrived at first.

Yeah, Marshall's stuff isn't quite so dominant. Good, but not blow you away type stuff that Miggy can't handle any more.

We are to the point where we need to put Engel in as a defensive replacement for Jimenez in the late innings. At least Mazara has that Top 5-10 in the game outfield arm.

Jimenez wants to be on Sports Bloopers and Blunders show, seemingly. Schoop looking really good here in this game, he has struggled pretty mightily the last couple of seasons offensively.

That's almost going to be impossible. My picks, either Hedges or Mejia...whoever the Padres cast aside. NOT AGAIN JIMENEZ. EXACT CARBON COPY, almost.

Uneasy feeling creeping back into this one...
