Just looking at last year's numbers with Washington (for Giolito): His fastball (overall) average was 93.4 (most of his FB's were two seamers rather than four) 93.3 average for two-seamer, 94.8 for four-seamer 85 MPH slider 80 MPH curveball (13.4 difference off FB) 83.5 MPH change-up If we throw out the 96-98 MPH "max velocity" hype and concentrate on achieving a consistent 93-95 (location/movement), that's a realistic number/expectation.

The first two innings were "shaky" in terms of just watching it as online play by play...but apparently none of the hits were blistered. That's the problem with trying to analyze anything without at least listening to the announcers or hopefully watching with your own eyes.

Typical mixed results for Giolito so far. 4 k's so far, but also a walk and 4 hits....lots of stolen base attempts (see Hansen), but was fortunately bailed out with two caught stealings/runners picked off. Lots of pitches thrown. And there's another walk, his 2nd. That WHIP number is simply not going to be sustainable at the next level. Somehow, the ERA has lowered to 5.26 but it has been fairly ugly going to get there.

Haseley's going to go 6-9 according to nearly everyone, correct? Hostetler hyped Beck a lot, smokescreen to draw attention off Kendall? The problem with THAT particular theory is that nearly everyone is baseball knows we're after him, and unless the A's took him at 6th, he's quite likely to be there for the White Sox to take at 11th. No matter what the tool package, kids at the high school level with that much hype pan out about 10% of the time. Guys like Smith and to a lesser extent Haseley...did they peak this year? How well will their power translate with wooden bats at corner positions (LF/RF and 1B). With the insurance of Robert already in the fold, it does seem that you at least have the option to take the higher floor/lower ceiling choice in a Pavin Smith, but it's still highly unlikely either of those options are there. As we've already gone through with Rodon/Fulmer and all of our pitching prospects (up and downs), taking Faedo at 11 when he's only throwing 90-92 is scary as heck. Having Robert AND Kendall, the odds are super high at least one of them makes it, if not both.

When somebody who spends their whole workday in here posting links no one reads posts about Trump's travel costs in March it becomes a reoccuring topic. When I posted about prison reform and decriminalization of drugs and gay marriage and how I agree with Bernie Sanders almost uniformly as long as there's no money involved in the subject nobody responded to me. It's one post and the groupthink has already decided they won't have me, so they read, scroll past and d act like it never happened so they can call me Fox News or Breitbart or racist or whatever p**** tactic/canned response they use to shutdown conversation when they disagree with someone. If I say anything about the unfair media treatment to the right or HRC being a lifelong crook or the Obama blatant admin's criminal behavior, I could make a thread jump three pages in an hour with the outcry I get. So I get why you have an angle to character cast me and I would understand if the people who come in here in passing character casted me. I never have to defend my beliefs that fall under the liberal umbrella because there's no one here opposed to them. That being said, you are just being narrow-minded and condescending in your posts at me in thinking you're always right, you're evolved, you have the mental dexterity to look beyond your own worldview and I don't, etc. It's bulls***. You can't take the 10-15% of your posting here where you do attempt to be more nuanced and then hope those moments of honesty and candor will cover up the other 85% of Seth Rich and CNN manipulates/fake news/anti-Hillary & Obama stuff. That's just a different way of doing the same thing Greg does here, except Greg has a way of doing it in a more ambiguous way where you're really not sure if he's messing with you or sly like a fox.

There's another problem with the leaking theories. The one in which the "deep state" Bannon is at perpetual war with is leaking in order with the express intention to remove Trump from power (or weaken him to the point where he'd be forced to resign) so that Mike Pence can be put in charge of the military/industrial complex and align with McCain/Lindsey Graham, etc., on foreign policy.
