  1. Schmitt is a legit defender...retired Teel Braden laces a single through left side of the infield. 2/5 on spring.
  2. Hackenburg homer. Opposite field. 7-3
  3. Maton with another quality at bat.
  4. Well...at least we have Ishbia and Kevin Durant as fans.
  5. Drury has the most positional flexibility...well, other than Maton.
  6. At least Murfee had a solid outing.
  7. Amaya hit one 410 but unfortunately straight away CF.
  8. Loveland of Michigan the other TE getting all the attention...almost more of a receiver than an end, like Kittle in his prime. Or Bowers, but a bit less dynamic.
  9. Shuster getting crushed...almost another homer. Casey Schmitt bidding to make Giants.
  10. There's nobody interesting until you get down to Braden and Wolkow. McCray lighting up Sox on the base paths...50+ steals guy in minors.
  11. Twins with an 8 spot. Leaves Sox and Padres alone at the bottom in runs scored and both probably 3-10 after today. Doval just massacred Sox...has lost closer's spot but Posey won't trade him yet.
  12. In shocking news, Martin Maldonado still doesn't have a hit yet this spring lol.
  13. Makes 1985-89 Sox outfields led by Calderon look like Murderer's Row.
  14. CS by Hackenburg...looks like he might have been safe.
  15. Yaz homer...6-1. Barry Bonds has appatently been working with Giants hitters in recent days.
  16. Colas hurt??? Jammed something on the dive. Had a great catch the inning before against Chapman.
  17. Just play Maton in spring...or Gray. This lineup today is hopeless. Bad enough to make Andre Lipcius at bats almost compelling. No walks for SFG pitching stands out.

  19. C Drew Dalman to the Bears Dalman wins his assignments with movement and leverage to offset a smaller frame (6-3, 300 pounds). He's a technician on tape, best suited for the zone run game, and his pass block win rate of 95.1% ranked ninth among centers with at least 500 snaps in 2024. (He missed time due to an ankle injury, though.) Chicago traded for guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, and Dalman could fit right between them on the line. espn.com
  20. "In the eyes of the public, the upcoming draft class consists of three top players, with Cooper Flagg being the clear one, and the Rutgers duo of Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey being two and three. It feels crucial to land a top-three pick, despite other top players being excellent like Baylor’s VJ Edgecombe and BYU’s Egor Demin." Bulls currently 8th from the bottom at 24-38...6% odds for Flagg.
  21. . "Should David Blitzer execute his option, it would be a tidy change of ownership for the Guardians, in contrast to what we’ve seen from a number of sports franchises recently. The Denver Broncos sold in 2022 because the family of late owner Pat Bowlen could not agree on a successor. The family of late Padres owner Peter Seidler is currently in court fighting over control of the MLB team. The death of longtime Chicago Bears owner Virginia McCaskey in early February has spurred all sorts of questions about whether her family can maintain ownership of the team while remaining compliant with the NFL’s ownership rules. The Baltimore Orioles sold last year on the eve of Peter Angelos’ death following disagreements between his children. The Boston Celtics are currently on the market as a result of estate planning for Irving Grousbeck, who is around 90 years old." https://www.sportico.com/business/team-sales/2025/cleveland-guardians-owner-succession-plan-david-blitzer-1234831439/
  22. Why Losing Out on Billionaire Justin Ishbia Might Be a Win for the Minnesota Twins https://twinsdaily.com/news-rumors/minnesota-twins/why-losing-out-on-billionaire-justin-ishbia-might-be-a-win-for-the-minnesota-twins-r17857/ Then: Spending doesn’t guarantee success, but as the Dodgers and Yankees remind us, not spending almost certainly guarantees failure. Now: smart, sustainable decision-making is just as important The messages are not at odds, but certainly the emphasis became different "There's a good chance a new owner will do something splashy right away to build immediate goodwill and put his or her mark on the team. However, there's next to no chance that when this person is announced that we will have any idea how they plan on operating this club three or four years from now. Smart money is on that it's going to look pretty much exactly like we have it now."
