DJ joking we're unlikely to see him a third time. Carroll up ofc.

Meidroth ground out on a low 96 mph fastball. .132 .456

Sosa 302 739 Your starter at second until Rojas returns...then DH? Slater now 1/16 .063 5-4 Vaughn had doubled.

Vargas homer barely cleared the wall, pulled a breaking ball...might have been tipped over but it counts. We'll take it. Was actually a FB. Had to maximize vid.

Vargas homer. 5-3. Benjamin Matthew McCollum is the men's basketball head coach at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Hometown: Iowa City. Wikipedia Someone jumping the gun there. Thankfully Sean Miller to Texas.

If not for the Zavala miracle comeback, the White Sox would be staring at 9-20...same exact spring training record as last season. As is, we get the one game improvement to 10-19 if this score holds up.

Plymell a 26 year old from Central Missouri. Sac fly two outs. 5-2 Inning mercifully comes to an end.

Finally an out recorded.

The entire team other than Robert can be classified as a reclamation project at this point.

Chase Plymell??? Who the hell is that?

His former teammates were quite familiar/comfortable with him it appears.

Six in a row 26 pitches no outs yet. JR is ordering him to sell more milkshakes?

Janish said Quero was more advanced but probably just due to more familiarity.

We only pick up fringeish relievers.

Five in a row have reached/scored. 3-2 AZ Bases still loaded.

You and Tray treating him like he's Thomas/Ventura back in the day for some reason. Not even Luis Robert rocketed through the system THAT fast.

Three in a row reach former DBacks pitching to mates who are unfriendly. Of course Slater has a throwing error allowing two runners to advance. Based loaded now with a walk.

Taylor=guaranteed contract prematurely awarded to hedge on Robert trade.

They must be bros now. Narvaez comes through with an RBI double to drive in Slater.

Meidroth had a strike overturned...but then called out on strikes in a Moncada-esque at bat.

Gilbert is a finesse guy too.

Meidroth getting outproduced by Michael A. Taylor so far...that's not easy to accomplish even in ST. Slater 0/15

Yeah we weren't including Blake Larson with this recent grouping...so that's up to six.

Yes but you can't force prospects to develop before they're ready ... that's what Hahn did for a decade. Or draft for need/s. I will say second half 2026 for Montgomery on a fast track considering zero MiLB experience.

But you're still looking at 2-3 years of development...
