Levine: Possible frontrunner for manager - LAD 1B Coach Clayton McCullough
Probably too late for Lux and he's not a premium SS by any stretch of the imagination. Outman or Pages lol.

Levine: Possible frontrunner for manager - LAD 1B Coach Clayton McCullough
Sounds too much like former Sox low first round draft pick Kyle McCulloch...pedestrian pitcher, him and Lance Broadway. Univ of Texas I think

9/24 Sox vs. Halos 6:40PM - A chance to witness history
This situation tonight was much more dramatic with everyone assuming another record breaking loss.

9/24 Games
Something for Getz to celebrate at least.

History avoided for one night...adding to the drama I guess.

Yet he gets the save. First comeback win of the season. Crazy.

Anderson is not a closer.

Twins already down 1-0 to Miami. Make that 4-0. Could both fading AL Central teams get passed by Seattle? Royals haven’t scored in twenty innings.

9/24 Sox vs. Halos 6:40PM - A chance to witness history
Every day seems a new record…AL MLB modern 62 Mets 1916 A’s 1899 Spiders, etc. Basically rarer than a White Sox WS victory by a factor of 3.

Fire Chris Getz
Zero pressure on him not having to allocate $50-75 million to one player…just the usual cast of characters like a Kyle Hendricks or Maldonado just struggling to hang around for one more season in the majors. Pretty sure he would turn down the Sox though and simply retire. No matter what he does the team will turn a profit again for JR.

Eloy to Baltimore
Well at least they recouped some of the money on the Jimenez contract commitment. Sure to be reinvested in the club…

Guess it's an ideal day to bet because you lose or win automatically depending upon one's perspective.

Hitters who left Sox this year to other MLB teams
The pitching story is quite different...with the exception of Fedde. And the irony there is our biggest strength as an org is supposed to be Katz and Bannister.

The Athletic: Must Read article on Jerry Reinsdorf/White Sox
balls on the infield scored runners from second Twins in the same inning or game the blown lead records and ZERO late comebacks when trailing after 6/7/8 are almost unreal entities...like SD in extra innings last year going against their RS/RA oh for the days of Adam Engel and Moncada tagups against Buxton, definitely the Twins...

Hitters who left Sox this year to other MLB teams
DeJong with Royals Romy? Burger? Anderson? Duke Ellis? Can probably backdate to the point nobody was really in charge last year and Hahn had a TA trade ready and got overruled by KW/JR.

Which ex Sox player will go after JR if he releases a John Fisher/Oakland A’s letter and refuses interviews at year’s end?
B10 football and basketball championships...women's and men's too.

Eloy to Baltimore
Amazingly Grandal is still hanging in there with a 675ish ops in part time duty...Pirate.
-
Happy (possible) 121 Day...How are you celebrating?
Or Colas Quero and Ramos w/ Robert...Rebuilding the Cuban Connection. Do they look still have Yosimar Cousin?
-
Quero debut this week?
Not many relievers are over the 1 mark unless they're getting multiple innings.

Battle of the Broadcasters this weekend
Tigers are sky high...now leading KC and the Twins by 1/2 and 1 1/2. 28-11 run now behind dominant pitching. Skubal would go again Sunday if necessary, he's clearly your AL Cy Young. Has gone from just 80 innings in 2023 to nearing 200 this season. And to think they were considering trading him at the deadline... Royals have lost seven in a row, 7-16 and Minnesota on a 11-22 run so both teams in full collapse mode as Seattle desperately tries to join the fray.

Well yeah Trevor May struck the perfect tone there...sounded more like a fan than a "privileged" former player.

Battle of the Broadcasters this weekend
Well unless it's the Mariners somehow. We could still save the Royals/Twins from one of the better September choke jobs. Detroit if they do make it to playoffs the most likely team to spend more going into the offseason. Not even sure it matters buried behind all four organizations at this point.

TLR/Dave Stewart connected to that Nashville group fwiw.
