And the Sox are not much more than 6-7 weeks removed from the team being considered an automatic cakewalk on the schedule for most teams. That they would play over the losses of Vasil Teel Hays Shane Smith Pereira, etc. The worst bullpen ERA ... etc. This .500 or better record is just as improbable as 41-121 in many ways. If they're still over .500 into July when Cholowsky or Lackey is selected 1-1, you'd have yourself quite the story....just like 1977/83/1990/2000.
