  1. Don't think they would care all that much. Tony would probably say "good riddance."
  2. The pieces just don't fit together. The veterans broke down before the core peaked together. Maybe they never will. But it's too early to completely write off our starting pitching (even Giolito), Robert,Vaughn, Jimenez, Anderson...until they have a new manager and hitting coach/philosophy change. That can make a world of difference. Look at 5 1/2 months of 2012. The biggest problem outside all of the cosmetic ones is figuring out what they have left of Grandal and Moncada and whether to cut bait or go all out to "fix" what already amounts to sunk costs. Giolito, number three. And how to break Abreu Vaughn Jimenez logjam. Who knows, maybe they finally strike gold with Colas and Montgomery for once in a decade or two like Beckham and Viciedo their rookie seasons... But it won't happen under TLR. That much is already baked into the cake.
  3. Ouch! Points for not sugarcoating it a bit.
  4. Here comes our old friend Tony LaRussa. Curse of the eighth inning strikes again. We are the anti Guardians.
  5. Shocking isn't it? McGuire would have "hand"led it much better, of course. Shortsighted.
  6. Closer to Jimi Hendrix Experience. Minus the c drugs to dull the pain.
  7. Classic Sox Joe Kelly. Still not loving him Tony. But wait until you see him in 2023!
  8. second in al batting average, but ninth in scoring. hard to do but just a few few walks and terrible hitting with runners in scoring position. situational hitting/lack of solid contact too many ground balls.

  10. Mateo will get 8-12 stolen bases if he can actually reach base.
  11. Thanks Harrison and Zavala. Don't want see either on the Sox next season, honestly. Need a reboot where non-core players can be exchanged feasibly for other and hopefully better/younger options.
  12. Hernandez was shockingly signed at 19 years old out of Venezuela…
  13. Certainly boring and filled with late inning rallies coming up just one key hit or play short as per usual.
  14. Well, 5-10% lol. Needless to say…not exactly the Guardians in “comeback-ability.”
  15. Got him with David Robertson/Kimbrel knuckle curve. Bases loaded jinx continues.
