Yeah, from watching him in the CWS, he seems to have a very good eye. He was taking some close pitches that were balls that got called as a strike on him. With bettter umps in MLB he'd probably be getting the call there.

Some days I like Hawk, some days I'm very ready for him to be gone. I hate when he makes a big deal about bad calls. They happen to every team pretty much every game. You can't point that out every game.

Its good to see positive reviews from people like Orel, but you do have to remember that he is not a professional scout, he's just a man who played in the game and has spent a lot of time around the game. Do you guys think we could have had Mitchell with our second pick?
