this has got to be the worst fundemental football team ive ever seen..i mean that..they have some skilled players but fundementals are horrible.. on defense..omg...my son is a MLB and he loves football...cant get enough...i will not let him watch the bears anymore because the only he can learn from the bears defense is bad habits....at any time in that game did any bear defender breakdown , stick a guy right in the mid section , wrap him up , lift and drive him to the ground???....for those of you that arnt used to seeing that , that is called a form tackle...its how its supposed to be done...its becoming about as frequent as seeing a team line up in the single wing offense with the bears...1st touchdown...urlacher hits the guy high and doesnt wrap and he bounces off and goes in...2nd td jerry azumah (THIS GUY SUX!!) comes flying in with his head down and the runner just side steps and dumbass jerry goes flying by as he walks into the endzone... mike brown..tackle after tackle with his head down trying to undercut guys and not wrap up... azumah has to be the worst defender ive ever seen...atleast once a game he will trip over his own feet...even torry holt in that halftime segment said he could burn azumah (lol)...running around with his head down...he hit torry holts knee one time and almost knocked himself out...this guy is a serious health risk..he is a spinal injury looking for a place to happen...i cant believe we let walt harris go for this guy..he cant tackle , he cant cover and he cant stand up..other than that he's great... mike green...god i wanna puke...this guy is 180 lbs and he is trying to tackle guys by standing straight up and running into people with a shoulder block...what a joke..we thought this guy could replace tony parrish???... and that idiot john madden is glorifing these hits as good tackles..twice he talked about great hits the bears made..one by larry wigham and one by mike brown...both were high hits leading with their shoulder and both guys failed to wrap up...and he is calling those good tackles....they were lucky marshall faulk wasnt playing...because if either one of those guys tried that on faulk he would just spin off the hit and keep going...i dont care how hard a guy can hit a good back with balance and strength will take the hardest hits and keep going if you dont wrap up... i did not see one good form tackle all night..the closest i remember was alex brown on a sweep where he hit a guy and actually wrappped him up..but even he failed to get his head accross the front of the ball carrier and if that was marshall instead of that rookie he probably runs right through that tackle.. on offense...i cant even count how many times adam archeletta came through untouched...no one accounted for him like 3 or 4 times atleast...hello dumbasses, archeletta is the rams version of brian urlacher..he's a strong safety but he lines up all over the field and alot of times right in the middle and he blitzes atleast 10 times a game...thats equivilent to an offense playing the bears and not accounting for urlacher...dumb ,dumb , dumb...seemed like everytime the rams blitz the bears screwed up pick up protection...you'd see two bear lineman or a lineman and a back pick up the same guy while the guy right next to him comes in untouched....pathetic.. i know they have alot of injuries and that has something to do with the lack of consistency but one of the reason they have so many injuries (especially on defense) is that they are so fundementally weak...football is a very violent game (as we all know) and when you dont play it the right way you increase your risk of injury.. for those who think the bears played a good game tonight...remember the rams are playing with their 3rd team QB and 3rd team RB...they had no running game at all but still racked up almost 400 passing yards..any descent team would have beat the rams tonight i know alot of fans wernt big on tony parrish and walt harris but they were two fundementally sound football players that never got hurt...they both were much better then they were given credit for here...seems like w/o those guys fundementals have gone to hell in a handbasket... blame for this has to start with angelo because this team came into this season with less talent then last year...the blame for poor fundemental football lies with the head coach..jauron has to demand more out of his players and his OC and DC..this team is very undisciplined and that is his fault...

by taken the wood to mom i meant bedding her down..i know he had a song where he rapped about how he would enjoy doing mommie...remember it being the craze of the grammys a few years ago??..i didnt mention anything about him acting black.. thats about the only negative i said about the man...as for him being a great dad...SO WHAT...every man should do his best to be a great dad...it should be expected , not made to seem like its an exception...and he has it alot easier then most dads who have to work their ass off and pay bills and budget what they have left to spend on their kids...most of us cant afford to be the great dad eminem or kid rock is...we have to earn it the hard way...men today seem to think its a big deal if a man is a good father..thats a big part of the problem...it should always be expected and any father that isnt there for his kids should be made to feel like a heel... if you guys like eminem thats fine..but his supporters talk about him like he should be knighted or cannonized...he just a music star...im a big fan of rock , blues , jazz but i not naive enough to believe that these are good down to earth people...im sure there are exceptions but most are there for the sex , drugs and rock and roll...to make it in that business you have 100% into yourself and career and everything else comes 2nd...inckluding family as far as music goes im not a fan of classical..but i can see its musical value...it takes a skilled musician to play it...whether i like rap or not doesnt change the fact that you dont need a great deal of musical talent to rap...i can equate rap to punk rock..look at the sex pistols...as musicians they sucked...i dont think they knew 3 cords and sid had no rythem whatsoever...i liked them at the time because the late 70's were boring as hell and they were something different..but they were never real musicians.. thats just my opinion... hey you dont like country???..im shocked

should give them the inside track to talent there....like they need it Yankees team with Yomiuri Giants By Barry M. Bloom / MLB.com TOKYO -- The New York Yankees and Yomiuri Giants announced an extensive scouting and minor league non-player personnel agreement at a press conference Saturday afternoon in a hotel immediately adjacent to the Tokyo Dome. The agreement is open ended, said Randy Levine, the Yankees president. It gives the Yankees no inside track on signing Giants slugger Hideki Matsui, a free agent who is playing for the Japan All-Star team and has declared his intentions to play in the Major Leagues next season. Nor is it a first step toward establishing a broadcast agreement that would allow networks in both countries to telecast the other team's games. "We went into this partnership because we continuously seek ways to improve and get better," Levine said. "Obviously, the Giants have such a fundamentally solid organization. There are so many things that we can learn from them so that we can get better. We welcome an association with an organization that does things so well." Levine was flanked during the press conference by Stephen Swindal, the team's general partner, Brian Cashman, its general manager, and Jean Afterman, Cashman's assistant. Representing the Giants was Yoshinori Horikawa, their president, Makato Doi, their general manager, and Gyo Ishiguro, the executive officer from Yomiuri's culture and sports project bureau. "Through this working relationship we're hoping we'll be able to receive tremendous amount of correct information on Major League players," Horikawa said. "The areas we've agreed on are very, very basic. The goal is to work at it in the future and discuss and further strengthen this relationship." The teams are the most successful in their respective leagues and countries and have combined to win 46 championships. The Yankees have won the World Series a record 26 times and the Giants have won the Japan Series a record 20 times. Levine said that a memorandum of understanding signed by the two clubs on Saturday was previously analyzed and approved by Major League Baseball's Office of the Commissioner. Levine said any future changes, which might include broadcast or player rights, would be pursued under the strict guidelines of MLB and Nippon Professional Baseball, as were the initial stipulations of the memorandum of understanding. The document spells out seven facets of the new relationship: Exchange of general baseball information, including scouting reports on professional baseball players in the U.S. and Japan. Exchange baseball rules and regulations active in the U.S. and Japan. Hold at least one meeting annually about the above mentioned topics. Exchange of minor league personnel, such as coaches and staff, but not including players. The Yankees will support the Giants in scouting and player development in Latin America. The Giants will support the Yankees in scouting and player development of Asia and the Asian Pacific rim. The two teams will exchange technology and information on player rehabilitation and conditioning. "It is our sincere hope that this agreement through the exchange of ideas and programs will lead to continued success for the Yankees and Giants," said Swindal, who is the son-in-law of Yankees principal owner George Steinbrenner. "For now and for the next generation of players in the U.S. and Japan, we hope this will be a wonderful partnership."

well if we do deal maggs im done with the sox..but the yanks are talking moving posada but the sox wont pay for him...juan rivera is supposed to be a real stud..i could see KW trading maggs for rivera and couple of skank farm hands its funny to read the yanks board..there over there saying well if matsui's deal falls through magglio would be a great safety net..lmao..the best RF not named vlad in baseball and the yanks fans look at him as a safety net....funny to listen to them

didnt say he wasnt smart...i dont think he is that talented because in general im not impressed with the musical talent it takes to be a rapper..when you look at "real" musicians...a lot of rock and rollers cut their teeth on classical or jazz..they can play other forms of music..same with country , blues jazz...even if you are just a singer you need to have a voice that is well above the average person to be sucessful...rappers only need to have on ability..the ability to ryhme..everything else they can fake..to me thats just not that impressive..but thats just my opinion as for him leading a hard life...big deal..is he the only person on earth to have it rough???...besides he is using his rough childhood to further his career..so it couldnt have hurt him too much...and for being a good father..again...what does he want a medal??...every man should bea good father and shouldnt expect praise for it...its what expected of every man that fathered a child.. he won custody of his daughter??...wow im shock..im sure the woman he impregnated was a real fine uipstanding girl next door type...what was she..a groupie??...and even if she was a girl of high morals who maybe made one mistake do you think she had the financial backing to fight eminem in court???...its not about who is the better parent when one is a famous multimillionaire and the other parent is basically a nobody.. you say its funny how people rag on the guy w/o knowing him..well youre defending him and i take it you dont know him either since you didnt mention that in your defense of him so whats the diff???

i wish it was a joke...its on the yankees website...you can get the link to the story there..i didnt post it cause its in spanish and its a real long article... there was only this small blurb about maggs being traded...(guess in venezuela whether maggs plays for us or the yanks isnt much of a story) but you can get the whole article there under a thread "magglio ordonez to the yankees":(

from a venezuelan newspaper run through a spanish to english translator The Yankees tempting ¿Is certain that the Yankees are you "tempting"? "They carry time conversing with the White sox". - ¿AND have advanced something? "I ignore it. Have also conversed with me, but not to have something concrete". - ¿You would go with the yakees? "That will depend on the situation of the White sox to middle of the next season. If the equipment follows without giving results, inevitably there will be movement. There possibly it it will be defined mine"

from today's balt sun They (balt) are also considering a run at Chicago White Sox free-agent first baseman Frank Thomas and consider Matsui another option. also of interest , well maybe:NOTE: The Orioles have been talking to the Oakland Athletics about a potential trade that would send Chris Singleton to Oakland. The A's, who lost Johnny Damon to free agency last offseason, are looking for a center fielder so they can move Terrence Long to another outfield position. Singleton is eligible for arbitration and could command a $2 million salary for next season. He became expendable when Gary Matthews blossomed into an everyday player after coming over from the New York Mets in an April trade.

wonder if angelo and KW were twins seperated at birth???
-
sorry jason...our bullpen sux..its one of the worst in baseball...the only one that looks solid to me is marte...
-
signing konerko has nothing to do with the thomas situation anymore...frank is strickly DH material as far as the sox are concerned...what happens with carlos lee and jeff liefer will have a bigger impact on what the sox think will happen with thomas...if the sox make the rumored lee- lidle trade then you assume frank will be back...if billy beane offers a good deal for lee and the sox turn it down...then you assume frank's days might be numbered...

Lidle for .... Mark Johnson??? Gammons Thinks So
baggio202 replied to aboz56's topic in Pale Hose Talk
sorry jas..i don see adkins as another steve shrenk..career minor leaguer... as for johnson for lidle...if KW did that trade lidle would probably pitch about 7 games and have a career ending in jury while mark johnson blossoms into the stud the sox thought they were getting when they drafted him in the first round...hitting something like 20-80 310... just watch...everything KW touches turns to crap...he is the anti- midas -
wouldnt mind omar daal and ismael valdez...both could eaily lose 15 games but its possible they both could win 15 plus too...and since we dont dish out the big bucks any pitcher we grab will have to come with some baggage...but these guys have had success in the past

yup...HSC is right..im banned over there too.. this is a good example of politcal correctness run amuck...some dips*** gets offended by a stupid cartoon characature of KW and complains to the sox...in this pc world of today we cant have any of that..god forbid someone gets offended by words or pictures of another...so they trample all over the 1st amendment to make sure the dont piss off the PC crowd...its sickening to me....the rights that thousands of americans in the past have given their lives for so we can enjoy them and all we do today is just piss those rights away without even a whimper... i am 100% certian that if KW was white and corg put up a similiar characature of him as a white guy with the phrase "klueless wonder" under it nothing would have been mentioned...nothing at all... please dont tell me that since its a private site its not a 1st amendment issue...anytime people feel they must surpress their real feelings for fear of retaliation it is a 1st amendment issue...atleast im my eyes to paraphrase ben franklin...those who would sacrifice a little freedom for a little security deserve neither... now ill get off my soap box..thanx to the boys at this site for understanding the bigger picture..hey i wonder if the guy who created that cartoon figure knows what a ruckess he has started???..lol

1. people who dont keep their word ( if you cant keep your word you are totally useless to any friend or family) 2. watching an NFL player who thinks a tackle is running full speed into someone using his helmet as a weapon...what the ever happen to "stick , wrap , lift and drive" ????..you know..proper tackling techniques???? 3. people who take credit for others hard work (im sure all of us have had a boss take credit for research or hard labor others have done - insecure ass holes) 4. people who are friends to your face but put a knife in your back the minute you turn around (again im sure all of us have been in the situation..and if you havent..dont worry you will someday) 5. opportunist (if the only way you can suceed in this world is by taking advantage of another's tough times..then youre loser and your day is coming soon) :puke
