    The Simpsons

best cartoon ever??..yes...but i would ra k south park right there with the simpsons...favorite tv show ever...has to be married with children...another show i loved was also from fox in the late 80's early 90's, in living colour..that show was firiggen hilarious favorite simpson episode...rat milk one was funny...when marge went on vacation and homer lost maggie..when the flanders got custody of bart , lisa and maggie and they fliped out when they found out they wernt baptized was a riot
  3. Lets see, I will give you the short version. Met this girl, fell in love. She was extremely jealous of my ex. We had problems, we broke up twice, but we always stayed best friends. Anways, for a 5 month period, 2 months of which we were together, she was seeing another guy. She waited until just recently, 7 months later, to tell me about it. The reason I am even considering taking her back, is we really love eachother. Yeah, like i said, its the dumbest thing ive ever done................. If it's meant to be, it will. And no, not all people who have cheated before do it again. Sometimes the loss of the relationship is enough to straighten people out. One of my dearest friend was cheated on. They split. It was bad. The ended up back together. 5 kids and 9 cheat free years later, they are the happiest couple I know. but most of the time thats not the case...
  4. glover turns 27 in december
  5. what those stats show me is that soriano has 12 more plate appearances in only 2 more games..so the yankees are turning their line up over more than we are
  6. gary glover the last two years had era's over 5...this year he is the mop up guy..but he is above average???...ill say he is above average for a mop up guy....if we lost glover tomorrow he could be easily replaced
  7. he was missing the mitt badly..sandy set up inside and mark would be outside...set up low and mark was high....ive never seen buehrle really that off....like every pitch was no where near where sandy wanted it...it happens to the best of them though...hasnt RJ, pedro and maddux all had games this year already where they each gave up 10 runs???
  8. kw stole him???...have you seen what scott eyre has done in san francisco???...both down the stretch last year and this year???...he is in damaso marte's role as the number 1 lefty for them..eyre had a 1.59 era down the stretch last year for the giants and this year has a 2.45 era with a save and 4 holds... right now eyre is still the better pitcher Scott Eyre did nothing for Toronto. He was so bad for the Blue Jays that they ended up releasing him. That is like saying the Cubs stole Sosa from the Rangers. how does that make glover a steal??....eyre is pitching in a critical role for san francisco while glover is the 10th man of the staff right now , usually pitching in mop up roles... glover is an ok pitcher but more than likely he will always be in middle relief...i liken him to billy simas before he got hurt...thats not a steal.. i wouldnt call losing eyre a steal for either toronto or san fran...either...even if he was pitching as good for us as he is for san fran we got damaso marte and id much rather have damaso...its just a deal that in the end seems to have worked out well for both pitchers..both guys found a home...but eyre is pitching in a more critical role...
  9. I wrote a couple of them during the last baseball season. I wasn't very good at it, so I went back to what I was good at, posting! thats me too..i wrote a few articles early last year about todd ritchie...one i thought was pretty good and the other 2 or 3 i wrote i thought were substandard for this site...so i too went back to what i do best..pissing off carlos lee fans
  10. i guess a player is gonna have to mamed or killed before MLB will finally do something about this
  11. kw stole him???...have you seen what scott eyre has done in san francisco???...both down the stretch last year and this year???...he is in damaso marte's role as the number 1 lefty for them..eyre had a 1.59 era down the stretch last year for the giants and this year has a 2.45 era with a save and 4 holds... right now eyre is still the better pitcher
  12. affeldt has had blister problems his whole career...nothing new
  13. I want our pitching staff back. If were going to sign anyone, its got to be more pitchers i wouldnt want tejada....he has the same kinda rep as jimenez...he was benched 4 games by art howe last year for loafing and jason giambi used to regularly get into with miguel because of lack of effort...both these guys up the middle when hot would be okay...but if they got in a slump they would feed off each other and talk about a downward spiral... we got jose to ride jimenez and mark ellis is very similiar to jose in hustle and leadership...both guys are in good situatons where they have leadership players as their keystone partner to keep them in line...shouldnt mess that up imo
  14. full count to crede...if he can walk we got the tieing run to the plate gezus..armando almost gets double off first on a pop up to the pitcher then sandy swings at the first pitch amd hits a 6-4-3 dp nothing like a little patience guys get them tommorrow
  15. with baez in the game we got a shot...he hasnt been stellar as a closer

    NFL Draft

Suggs last work out was even worse than his previous....... not good. I heard his 40 times were even slower to. 4.9 and 5.0 i think is what they said

    NFL Draft

i heard it was worse...was a blimp on one of the local networks sports report..said his stock is dropping fast
  18. im not prasing garcia...im picking what right now is the lessor of two evils..they both stink in the field
  19. 1. Easier said than done...It's the same as saying to a struggling pitcher "get ahead of the hitters". Duh. JM's advise is of no help at all. Also it's like telling a stuggling fly-ball pitcher to become a ground-ball pitcher and then criticising him because he is blowing everyone away with K's...lol 2. As Chisoxfn said, we dont know what the hell is going on and to say "we need it on the ground, not to all fields" is simply ridiculous. You can do so much better, Baggs. why cant he learn to hit the ball on the ground???....luis castillo did..i dont understand??? willie harris doesnt have the kind of power it takes t o make in the majors as a fly ball hone run hitter....either he changes or he will be a bust...atleast he will be for us because herry has already said he doesnt want him up here until he learns to do that now..im sure that since jerry said that he got with the minor league hitting instructor and can up with a plan for harris to do just that..he was talking to the press when he made that statement...he was asked why harris was sent down...so he didnt go into detail about the plan...maybe willie is hitting the ball on the ground alot and the 4 homers are liners that got out of the small park...i hope thats the case...cause i love harris' speed...
  20. didnt really play bad today..we just got beat by a john cusack lookalike buehrle put us in an early hole and we couldnt dig out of hit...we played better baseball than cleveland did..but they got the pitching today
  21. did you see the helmet??..the ear hole was shattered..he's lucky he walked off the field under his own power
  22. I was gonna start a thread where it stated i was beginning to worry about frank...he was horrible in '01 before the injury , horrible most of last year and this year he has done some good things but he is just not swinging the bat btw..by horrible i mean horrible for frank...
