  1. I remember when Glasnow got hurt, wasn't it at GRF vs the Sox?
  2. it's always the smart 4D chess move to give a low power corner OF who had power sapping hand surgery in the off season your biggest contract in team history
  3. Two comments: 1. Do Sox fans take the threats seriously that low attendance will result in the team being moved to another state? I think they're BS and it'll never happen 2. Only two players in baseball with 130+ ABs this year with zero homeruns Abreu 10d
  4. Ok. Site I used says arbitration next to his name, guessing that means this is his final arb year. They shouldn't list him as ARB but w/e
  5. @caulfield12 Lopez is still under arb control.
  6. mlb.com has the 15th best prospect Kyle Teel, which is interesting because he's a Catcher which the Sox struggle to acquire/develop He bats L / Throws R
  7. Sox are picking at #15 this year Not sure about consensus but here's Jim Callis' top draft prospects:
  8. If TA doesn't start performing, I don't think he's traded unless someone overwhelms us with their return I don't see them trading Cease either TA and Cease are on very affordable deals, something JR loves. Hendriks is gone, unless he's just straight up bad. I could see Middleton and Kelly dealt for sure. Grandal is interesting. His contract ends after this year and he isn't gonna get any good deals next year. Would he come back to the Sox in 2024 for a deal similar to Andrus. Sox don't have anything at C moving forward Who do you guys think is 100% gone this year at the deadline?
  9. I don't think Vaughn is trying to hit 30 jacks. He's got the power but I don't think he's willing to sacrifice that much average and obp to get there. I'm sure if he wanted to be Cincy Dunn he could probably accomplish it with a higher avg, I just don't think his confidence is there yet
  10. dunno I don't think Hahn is getting fired.
  11. OMFG I just found out that Pedro Grifol NEVER PLAYED MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL LOL No wonder these guys don't fucking listen to him. They're probably like f*** you rookie, we know more than your dumb ass. Wow, nice job Rick
  12. imo Tim is still hurt and he was rushed back early as a sacrifice to save this team and it didn't work
  13. Sox beat themselves more than any team in the AL, imo
  14. not gonna happen. he will be here for at least another year. Hahn made it clear his job is safe.
  15. an entire staff all losing their ability to pitch screams coaching philosophy and possibly clubhouse issues (to me), instead of bad talent eval. could be just having bad pitchers but Clevingers still got a good arsenal and good velo, same with Cease and Kopech. they just aren't getting it done. I don't think they listen to Katz at all or he's giving them horrendous advice. he always sounded like a guy who would be great for young pitchers who can absorb this data driven/spin/tilt stuff, but older veteran guys who weren't groomed on that s%*# would have issues with a guy like Katz edit: yes I know Cease and Kopech are younger guys, I think they're just too emotional and lose focus very quickly
  16. Sox have severe coaching discrepancies so anybody they sign will likely struggle here
  17. Robert should just be getting on base and then stealing 90% of the time.
