  1. I'd love to get Willingham. He'd obviously be a better #3 hitter than Rios, but I don't know if would want Rios hitting behind Dunn and Konerko with all the ground balls he hits.
  2. I don't see why the Mariners would want Viciedo when they've got Smoak. And the Upton trade really only works if they can bring back Crawford with that trade.
  3. It looks like he'll still be #44.
  4. Matt Diaz made $2.55 million last year, how much do you think he'll sign for and how much do you think Andruw Jones will sign for? I don't really know the going rate of 4th outfielders around the league.
  5. He has a career .387 wOBA against lefties and he's played some RF before. I'd be alright with him being the 4th outfielder, but if you can bring back Andruw Jones for a similar price I'd rather have him as the 4th outfielder.
  6. QUOTE (chisox2334 @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 04:02 PM) thanks to oney guillen bringing this to us Oney Guillen: America's Finest News Source
  7. What will this mean for Dewayne Wise's playing time?
  8. QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 06:23 PM) Hmm... didn't Mazzaro shut us down? He's only had two starts against the Sox, but he's done quite well.
  9. The Harball Times released their top 10 prospects for the White Sox. They're less than enthused.
  10. He's actually pretty much been the definition of average in terms of runs created since he's been with the A's. (read: reliable) And if by fluctuating you mean that he had a nagging knee injury that ended with him getting season ending surgery last season, then I agree, his been inconsistent defensively. Oh and he bats left handed. I'm not saying he's the answer to our prayers in RF, he's just the player that came to mind upon reading knightni's post.
  11. QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 3, 2010 -> 09:47 AM) The Sox need a reliable RF with decent defense that hits left-handed.
  12. Pretty much what the title says, I'm looking for a website where I can sort offensive numbers against Lefties and Righties. As far as I can tell you can't do this on fangraphs and I always have trouble using baseball-reference for anything more than looking at just one player's number at a time. I'm not really sure where I should be asking a question like this, sorry if this isn't the right place.
  13. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 08:43 PM) Early off season prediction: Kenny packages Floyd for a new lefty bat. Someone like Matt Kemp sounds about right. Classic KW move. But Matt Kemp bats right handed.
  14. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 11:34 PM) "You're gonna go off to college and get into Godspeed You! Black Emperor." I saw that in theaters and I think me and my friend were the only two people in there that laughed at that line.
  15. Got my ticket Godspeed You! Black Emperor ticket for the Sunday show. I haven't been this excited for a show since the My Bloody Valentine reunion in 2008.
  16. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 08:39 PM) Mike Vick Jr.? I disagree. I hope he gets his head taken off by a linebacker. Good luck catching him.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 08:25 PM) Morel looks bigger than 6'2 and 220. Maybe just me. You have the greatest signature picture ever.
  18. The way Torres is pitching tonight you'd think he was a first round draft pick.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 02:54 PM) It looks mostly the same. Yeah, it's pretty similar, but it just seems so drab now. They removed what little color there was.
  20. It seems like Sale is a lot more consistent from the stretch.
