Are there really people in here trying to sugar coat Lynn's season so far? Gimme a break.
  2. At a minimum, if they throw in the towel you have to see what you can get for these guys as they are goners anyways. Position Players: Grandal Pitchers: Giolito, Lynn, Kelly, Clevinger, Lopez, Middleton I would also see what you can get for Graveman and Santos as well. Man we are losing a lot of pitchers going into next year, with no depth and no money how the hell are they going to field a full staff of competent pitchers. This is going to be one helluva off-season.
  3. With how bad this division is, I am not sure they will ever really fall far enough out of it to sell off anyways. From the video posted above, unless Hahn is lying, it sure sounds like they believe in the group and aren't going to throw in the towel if they are within distance of the division.
  4. Is there any other team in baseball in a worse position than the White Sox? The minor league system is bare. The controlled assets on the main roster are either under performing or sunk costs which means if they do try to sell they will get diminished returns. The payroll is seemingly maxed and the budget is on the way down based on a abysmal 2023 season. They wont ever do what it takes to sign a superstar. They wont hold anyone accountable and in the off chance Hahn is relieved of his duties they wont go outside of the organization to replace him and change the culture. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel?
  5. Angels 17 base runners and 11 runs White Sox 14 base runners and 3 runs
  6. Benintendi is going to go down as the biggest waste of money this organization has ever spent. I am annoyed that he was given a hit for that weak ass ball last inning that was booted.
  7. Im still watching every game I can, this is my favorite team and always will be. The fact that I have to hope they continue to lose and spiral out of control that it might force the owner to actually hold someone accountable is just sad.
  8. The best outcome for this year is for the Sox to be so bad that it forces changes to be made. The worst outcome for this year is for the Sox to be so bad, but the division is equally as bad to where the Sox "hang around" all year and nothing changes. I am rooting for them to lose every game. I have to. That's the only way that we have a chance to get change here. It sucks, but its necessary. Its needed.
  9. Romy now outslugging everyone but Robert and Burger
  10. Had a chance to put this one away there
  11. the point was scoring 5+ probably a winning record and 4 or less a loser. I’m aware the Sox are no good.
  12. It doesn’t, but he still didn’t look like someone who is ready to contribute right now
  13. Maybe because he had no spring training and a handful of AAA innings to get ready. He’s throwing 95, he’s clearly not fucking ready to throw high leverage MLB innings.
  14. Agreed, I meant more you can’t just call a strike because a guy had cancer.
  15. This is a professional league not a charity case. I don’t even understand how it’s responsible at all for Liam to be out there 4 months from a cancer diagnoses.
  16. Because the White Sox don’t trade/sign people in their primes. They are on the downside or already peaked.
  17. We are so fucked. This team is bad, the farm system is bad, and the asserts we do have to trade are losing value rapidly.
  18. From today on out, they would need to go 65-46, or 19 games over .500, to reach 86 wins. This is just not going to happen. This team hasn't played that kind of baseball in years. This is what happens when you start 7-21.
  19. Angels, Yankees, Dodgers,Rangers, Red Sox all coming up with Marlins and Mariners sprinkled in
  20. Man what happened to Cleveland, all their hitters outside of Ramirez must have had the horseshoe fall out of their ass.
  21. Yep, more brain dead decision making by this top notch organization
  22. Props to you for the optimism, but this team has been in total decline since about halfway through 2021. This isn't a 2023 issue, the issues have been festering for a few seasons now.
  23. - Chips pushed all in on starting core. - No depth put into minor leagues, thus no next wave to support starting core. - No marquee FA signings to supplement core. these things mainly
